MICA and SRAAM don’t work either, I don’t see Germany are special in this regard. I think you’re likely to have to wait until AIM-9X.
Both I think, which is also why I wouldn’t expect to see it anytime soon (especially since the current AAM-4 should be AIM-120C-5 levels but is nerfed to AIM-120A levels).

Yeah I wasn’t expecting it soon, just curious if its ~120C-7/D level in range as well as having a great seeker on the aircraft.
And yeah doesn’t help that AAM-4 is nerfed, though I don’t really get why they added it at all… Japan also has aim-120 for their jets.

By then we’ll be on to R-73M, and it too I’m sure will blow some how. Gyro 2.0 issues, or IRCCM still not working. Just like it is now.
SU-33 doesn’t carry the R-77 does it, how would that be better than the old SU-27?
Maybe MiG-35 would have been a better pick, then?
Idk if we really need mig35. Perhaps mig29k would be enough for now, especially if they add it alongside the hornet.

…that thing just looks wrong. Too big of a head for it’s body.
That gets an extra pair of missile hardpoints right and should have better flight performance than the SMT, that would make it comparable to the F-15 maybe?

SMT’s radar on a lighter airframe with 7% better engines on top of that, plus 8 pylons. The inner 4 pylons can carry r27/e so you can carry 4xer/et, plus 4xr77 or r73. Otherwise you can run any combination of 8x r77or r73. If wikipedia and mig’s press releases are to be believed it has 5x smaller rcs due to use of stealth coatings and materials.

Honestly idk, Ive heard that it has the upgraded engines with the 7% more thrust already but theyve been implemented as earlier engines for some reason.

They changed the name to the proper engines and lwft the thrust as is so im not sure either
