Honestly idk, Ive heard that it has the upgraded engines with the 7% more thrust already but theyve been implemented as earlier engines for some reason.

They changed the name to the proper engines and lwft the thrust as is so im not sure either

7% more dry power is not that much tbh
that’s less of a difference than you get from it being stock vs spaded
Its more that in combination with the lighter airframe. So at the very least it’ll fly like the 9.12a/9.13 but should have a touch extra thrust to help out as well. It is heavier than the 9.12a though. This whole time ive been more referring to the mig29m that the mig29k was derived from. The mig29k is heavier due to the navalization of the plane.

you can try to downplay 7% all you want, but I NOTICE the difference between not having compressor and having it… that is less than 7% thrust improvement by far.

You can also distinguish the R-27EA from the ER by looking at the nose cone, it’s much more pointy.
