Just gotta wait 20 years for the naval trees to catch up
Same haha. Was never in the big chats or anything.
Fair. I haven’t played a single game of SIM in either modes lolol
Yup. Could have been a good addition from day 1, but just never got the time investment needed and its taken 2 years to get them to the point they should have been and they are still not in a good place
Yeah the most I’ve ever done is talked with a few who I spotted in matches but the ones who I’ve met are nice
and the worst part about them:
the F104G had them too, and after the ASSTA 1 Upgrade it recived Komoran II
technically the TT one should get both Komoran I and II
ARH AShMs are just missing in game, and I don’t see why
Huge learning curve, but worth it, especially if you enjoy mud movers
I don’t think I ever saw another ^Birds^ player in my matches, though I was not looking real hard. If you do get into a game with members of the same squad randomly, will they try to put you on the same team, and same squad in game?
Fingers crossed with the overhauled code, we’ll see a load get added.
I hope so
the AJS 37’s main reason to exist was an AShM that’s not in game
wait till you see they didn’t want to implement the ASSTA3 Tornado for the German tree, and instead gave it a fictitious “ASSTA3.0 LJDAM” upgrade. Could not use or carry them. They didn’t care about reports haha.
haha, Typical :D
Im waiting for Sea Eagles on the Buc, SHar and Tornado.
I see why they did it tho
I fully understand and support that move
I might give it a try. Is a HOTAS recommended? VR too? or just pluses
Well like I and Morvran said, there’s nothing to use them on! (unless in SIM), so if they added a Naval/Air mode, it could work well, or if they added ships back into air RB.
I’d say a stick is minimum
everything else is option but will give you ans advantage, especially VR
Yeahhh, I disagree with it, as I wanted an entirely new plane. I can see the reasons for not wanting a new plane, but…
HOTAS is recommended, but not implicity needed. Plenty of people play with the virtual joystick using M&K or use something like an Xbox controller.
I personally use a X-56 HOTAS.
VR, not needed, but does help a lot if you have it. There is nearly free options for headtracking like OpenTrack + AiTrack that makes use of a webcam. But often I just use the thumbstick on my HOTAS for looking around, good enough for osmething like a Tornado. But not good enough in something like the Gripen.
there were torpedo planes before Naval was added too
we also have anti infantry rockets, those have no use either
the code for ARH AShMs is there, so why not add them to more planes?
100% agreeance. I would love to see new stuff like that be added.
