Actually this is not true.
Both Rafale and Gripen is better than EFT in close quarter engagements while EFT excels in Long Range due to amount of missiles it can carry.
Gripen and Rafale is more agile than EFT while having similiar T/W ratio, lets not forget that Gripen is also smaller and lighter than EFT.
If Gaijin decides to add Gripen NG or E model its gonna be even worse for EFT.
People who think EFT will be the best in everything are just delusional, and lets not forget China will also recieve J10B which is a really dangerous aircraft as well.

@Smin1080p_WT So u previously said we shouldnt expect to see IRIS-T anytime soon, but does it apply to such missiles as ASRAAM, Python 4 and MICA IR? Can we see them anytime soon or they’d be as busted as IRIS-t could be?
I mean they also like to add things in later iterations of dev, no one was expecting a Taiwanese mirage 2000 but it came out of the blue last patch

The twr of the gripen c tops out at like 1.01. the Ef2000 has a twr north of 1.6.

I mean Israel also got their F-16C way later than the US and also had to wait months to get their 15C buffed to the same level as the other 15Cs.
Gaijin isn’t known for their great treatment of Israel.

And? Gripen is also lighter and smaller while it can withstand much more G’s.Also this is not true, that T/W ratio is combat loadout which is maxed out capacity, in dogfight difference will be much smaller.
EFT will be better in two circles while Gripen will be much more dangerous in 1 circle,safe to say EFT will not ‘‘always’’ beat Gripen easily, especially NG and E model.

Then fair, gripen e is a different animal than what we have in game.
Gripen C vs Typhoon doesnt stand much chance at all. So it does make sense to ask for the Gripen NG/E. The better engine and more hardpoints, along with an even better radar, helps close the gap quite a bit.
For the same reason that I can kill an F-15E with a SHar FA2 applies true for a Gripen NG (or even a C) vs a Typhoon. Will it be an uphill battle. Most likely., but not a totally one sided fight.
But Gripen was never designed to directly challenge the Typhoon or Rafale, it was suppose to be an economical cousin of them. Sacrificing raw performance for lower purchase costs and lower maintenance costs
