Storm Warning - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

The MICA wasn’t developed overnight

I don’t actually think it carried mockups or anything in its lifetime, but for the sake of comparison it makes sense

It was canceled, the whole thing is a what if

The first one says 27TE, the second one says 27(E)R

Trails began in 1991, still not possible.

Fair, but SPAAs and SAMs should catch up first before CAS gets more tools to destroy said SPAAs and SAMs

Strategic Bombers when?

Once again they didn’t just throw together a missile in less than 3 years and start trialing it

It very much existed, a whole lot more than the R-27EA ever did

336 flights ≠ What if

I can. Im built different.

Do you know if Gaijin has any plans to do Subtypes of missiles? Such as AIM-9M-9 or AIM-120C-7? Or are they just going to be a base model?

Once again a missile that only ever went past mock up stage in 1991 cannot be used by a prototype whose development terminated in 1988

Yes that’s why mockup for m4k was stated and specified

Yall are all arguing about your stupid missiles when the only new missiles this game needs are ruhrstal x-4s and malkara atgms.

We already have the AIM-9P-4 so I don’t see why not

If you want to be flying around with dead weight mock ups that’s on you. I would prefer missiles that can get off the rails.

With the new reload boxes, actually viable too xD

I mean the Yak-141 was cancelled in 91 but was still planned to be capable of carrying the R-77 which didn’t enter service till 94, look I’m not saying I think they will or should add the MICA to the M4K, just that if they wanted too there’s no real reason they couldn’t. And besides, none of this has anything to do with the R-27EA which again, is something Gaijin could add if they feel the R-77 isn’t good enough but the R-77M is too good
