Why does A look so instinctually appealing on Advance To The Rhine? Because people want to get into the action quickly.

My other two most played vehicles are the Dicker Max and the Jagdtiger. Trust me, if more long range maps were included in the map rotation, it would suit me just fine.
This is not about what I like. I can abstract away from my personal preferences and understand that I am part of a minority, which is unfortunate but a fact of life.
You are asking why we get more and more COD maps and the reason is simple, because they’re the lowest common denominator of player preference.
Western IFVs being over-BR’d certainly does not help, but doesn’t detract from my point either. The average player moans about respawning on European Province and needing to drive for 2 minutes. The average player picks the spawn that puts them closer to the enemy, or beelines for the furball in props.
Reverse gear.
Neutral steering.
The lack of which is incredibly detrimental to a tank’s survival in urban maps

I play high BR’s like 99% of the time.
Doesn’t matter if both teams are stuck in a fairly narrow corridor. The lack of reverse gear hasn’t exactly held back the USSR win-rates at top tier or made the likes of BMPT unplayable has it?
Oddly enough I don’t spend most of my matches reversing…

Keep note of your next ten matches on Rhine and your next ten matches on Factory. Go to server replay for each and note down how many spawned A on both maps vs how many picked the other spawn. Then report the numbers here and tell yourself it’s all a coincidence or an evil conspiracy by Gaijin.
