I noticed they hammered Mozdok by redding out huge areas so you can no longer go there which is stupid and a real shame.Trouble is you dont even know until you made the journey there.
Having read so much on here and reddit it seems some players are just too unintelligent to find cover in rolling hills and a seemingly featureless map. The cant take a few seconds to scan the area and see the pathways and hull down positions available to them. It has to be a forest or a building to hide behind then they whine about urban maps as well.No way to appease these morons so Gaijin simply shouldn’t bother.
They should make the good maps they were making and have some faith in them.
Also shoutout to Second Battle of Al Alamein (BR5+ Dom2, conq1) and Voloklomosk. I find playing fragile lights/scouting focusing on scouting, flanking and hull-down potshots very enjoyable on these maps. Hurtgen Conquest 4 is promising, but the objective being in the firing line with no cover kind of turns it into a simple death match even if there’s some fun hull down routes.
From perspective of 4.7-6.3 british at least, I want more maps like these.
This is literally the new version of Eastern Europe to a T.
No flanks, Forced Knife fight in the middle.
This one is even worse IMO, since i basically ONLY see it at top tier. It would be alright at a BR with Heavy Tanks and stuff, that could Fight it out a lil.
Then they need to make the map 2x As big. and turn it into a Hybrid map, make the town more Populated, to advance to the Rhine levels, but have outskirts for Sniping, and positions that can see into Sightlines into the City, While having flank routes to the positions if its needed.
Places to Brawl it out with heavy tanks, places to provide fire support in TD’s. Routes for the Light tanks to cause havoc around, and even behind enemy lines.
I mean just imagine being some Guy brawling it out in a Black Prince against tigers, and managing to push a Tiger back far enough he drives into a Line of fire of a M36 or something on the outskirts of town, and them being able to back you up.
Instead of just having a Map that is nothing but Mindless slop designed to make you die as fast as possible so you go into the next match as fast as possible to feed the garbage queue time statistics gaijin thinks is so damn important.
ID GLADLY sit for 5-10 Minutes in a queue waiting for a match if it was a 30+ Minute experience of team work on a Large map, where tank destroyers do their job Providing Fire support, heavies can do theirs’s of taking the brunt of a enemy assault, and Lights and mediums can do their thing of being Little annoying bastards.
If you’re looking for teamwork, squad and make effort in matches to call on peopel to do things…
None of this has anything to do with the map itself.
And here you are advocating to remove a map you don’t like… Think about that for a minute… When Gaijjin add things there’s a resounding group of peopel saying they['ve broken it and they’ve made it worse, so if everything got removed when things got added, then what?
It’s so common that people don’t want to change or make a different effort, but this is the way the game is heading.
You may not like it, but there’s no reason to remove things, just fix them, properly, not bow to the demand of a few to fix a map they consider as broken because their issue is unrelated.
