Because there have already been numerous books, government sources stating the Abrams have had D.U hulls since 1998, and people like you just keep ignoring them. Here i’ll post more of them since people like you have a hard time looking for stuff thats been posted over 100 times already.

All Standard Tanks manufactured after 1998 have D.U hulls. Every Single One. and the M1A1 started getting D.U upgrades from 1988
heavy armor could mean better composite usage, thicker/better composite thickness
more like 5 of each version recieve it and the rest doesn because of budget/weight constraint

its based off documents since there was one mentioning the use of such armor from abrams after 2011 or something i dont fully remember it, ill have to ask someone who can remember it or that has it
