it got war thunder to the heights they are at now. The money needed for like 3k models must be absurd
splash from amraams farkours or pheonix hitting the ground is far too extreme. if an early ww2 plane can escape a 1000lbs bombs blast after dropping it from 20m with only a 1.5s fuse a 10kg charge isnt doing a thing to something at mach 0.85

aim54 rarely splashed against me its most common for R77-1 and AIM 120s and MICAs which makes the least bit of sense since AIM 54 has a massive bomb warhead to be fair
ive met many who disagree with that and yeah A/B model 120s are the best for CqC the C5 accelrates to fast for close range from what ive seen
during the free tomcat incident i was getting blown up by pheonix splashes extremley far from me. it sucked so bad.
the 54 is equal to a british GP 250lb bomb in its blast. those dont do a thing to anyone from 50m away so why does the pheonix
idk free tomcat with buffed missiles was worst event to ever happen should have just made it a skin

I support this idea (would also add stock chaff and G-suit) with total modifications overhaul to make stock grinding less painful, though I doubt it will happen at some point knowing Gaijin. Even managed to find probably the most horrible stock grind on a 13.0+ planes with a bit of explanation why it’s awful.
Su-27SM
Basically gets access to radar missiles only at last tier. It doesn’t even get R-27R (that are already obsolete) as stock. The rest of the time you’re stuck with 2x mid ARH and 6 close-range IR missiles.
Mirage 2000Ei (CN)
Again, full ARH loadout is locked at last tier, but also locked behind a single 81k RP modification. 6x MICA-EM loadout could be easily a 3rd or 2nd tier modification.
