Grinding out stock planes at top tier is absolutely miserable. Some missiles are given by default.
But here’s the kick, these stock missiles don’t count towards planes that have their countermeasures unlock tethered directly to their missiles.
So for these planes the countermeasures will not work correctly until you also grind out the tier 4 missile unlock.
The JAS39C grippen for example. You cant use the countermeasures pods until you also grind out the darter at tier 4. As the countermeasures pods cant be used with the Darter given stock.
This is a 13.7 plane and they expect you to grind tier 4 without either properly functional countermeasures or radar missiles.
The gripen has a perfectly usable amouny of stock CMs, which can be fitted with chaff after thr rank 1 unlock like every other plane. BOL is unlocked at rank 2. Independently of missiles.
I agree honestly at this point, having stock chaff is really seeming like its needed. But the gripen is not a plane that this is relevany on more then any other.
Stock grind is really bad, without boosters, G-suit and chaffs it’s miserable.
Until you have these 3 mods, the game is unplayable.These three items should be basic.
Damm gaijin for locking air assault at 12.7, stock grinding wouldn’t be as miserable if 13.0+ jets could grind their critical mods in air assault peacefully, although slowly since it’s arcade.
