Stock grind is a game mechanic that makes the gameplay miserable

I’m on my fourth vehicle in the patch, I researched and ground my J10C, Rafale F3-R M, Gripen E, and now I’m stock grinding two Eurofighter AESAs.
It’s simply unplayable until you get the chaffs, G-suit, and boosters.
The worst part is that it still counts towards your vehicle statistics.
Does it really reduce profits that much when a player is having fun and enjoying the game and its new additions, for you to keep this horrible mechanic? Do you really only need our frustration to profit from the game, or is it a poor game design choice?

I mean its war thunder. There has to be some element of depression/grinding. It’s what make war thunder different from other games. (yeah but all joking apart playing top tier with no chaff is painful)

But it could at least be playable.

Having Chaff as a basic on jets (obviously not on early jets) would be soo useful. I suppose the point is you spend more time on the game grinding for chaff and then spend more time on the game actually playing the jet on a level playing field once it has chaff. I reckon its a key mechanism that keeps players grinding for longer

Chaff is the basic tool for your survival, and it’s not just chaff alone that will keep you alive; you need to be able to roll the aircraft and make a turn without the pilot passing out in the first 2 seconds.
Chaff alone isn’t enough; the ideal setup would be to have chaff, boosters, and a G-suit on the stock vehicle. if you can’t notch.
Flying low isn’t enough; relying on multipathing is a game of chance where the devil rolls the dice.

Yeah, those 3 mods on the FGR4 AESA was rough. last year with the base FGR4 and in-fact most aircraft, its usually fairly trivial for me to spade in ASB using tactics like terrain masking to avoid enemy contacts and where possible, base bomb my way to a half decently spaded state. But with the mass of AESAs… situational awarness is at an all time high and that tactic just straight up did work, even on Afghanistan. i was located in seconds and was forced to dogfight in a stock aircraft.

So has probably been needed for a while now, but its gone from terrible but possible to terrible but near impossible

So Id make this change:

  1. 2:1 ratio of flares:chaff stock (external CMs still excluded so for the Typhoon you’d have 42 flares and 22 chaff)

  2. switch G-suit over to improved G-suit or something, so that it wasnt quite as bad without, but still an upgrade with (though imo, crew skill is the bigger factor here, G-tolerance has waaaaaay too much impact and expert/ace is almost more valuable than the mod)

  3. rebalance or remove the booster mod.

Not to mention that you’re useless to the team, and when the team is at a disadvantage, you can’t even get reach the base.
You are forced to defend yourself not only by flying low, but also by avoiding missile running in the opposite direction.
Because if not one of the 10 r77-1s from some su30sm2 it will hit, when not an r27ER or ET.

Yeah, though Id blame that on a postage stamp sized maps we have currently and terrible base locations/map design in ARB
