Top tier got an option for smaller lobbies but I don’t think even those players have noticed a difference in lobby size. This is ridiculous, every patch is a furball where the only skill that matters is being able to manage complete sensory overload.
You cannot simply ignore the furballs either because not contributing means your team is likely to fold, leaving you to deal with ten enemies after all your friends are dead.
Genuinely the most fun I’ve had in air RB are the 6.0 matches where there are so few players that it ends up being a 4v4 or a 8v8. We need to have smaller lobbies. 6-8 players per team is enough.
Gaijin expanded team size to save servers only a few years ago
Leaves place for tactics, not 8x32=256 msls at a time, not 8 people rushing into 8 people on both sides of the map, not 4kills outta msls and still ton of people, not 1v31
Skill issue if you found msls too powerful, and balance + BR compression issue ofc still exists
Just need another game mode for 8v8’s, 4v4’s, 2v2’s, and 1v1’s.
Specifically one that doesn’t involve waiting an entire day for a specific time to join.
