I’m still able to see your stats in the game.
that’s true but still i don’t want third party website have my stats or info.
i only personally agree if it’s on war thunder.
As I said, then you gained nothing and people will still be toxic.
you 100% right but am just against the idea of another website having my information and stats without me even entering or agreeing to it’s terms if you understand what i mean !
I understand what you mean but I don’t see a problem with it.
They’re taking already public information and showcasing it in another format, what do you even need to agree with in the first place ?
the usage of information as example like when i use Facebook and have my selfie images i don’t agree my selfie images be on other /shared on other websites because i did not agree in that other website terms with them having my personal information and images.
am just against the idea and i know war thunder is a video game does not have any personal info but just the idea of other website collecting your info without you agreeing to the terms.
Sharing selfies and numbers that are meaningless outside of a game is very, very different.
Gaijin made most of the stuff public for a reason and I don’t think how that brings more harm than good.
I didn’t use this feature in WoT, and I’m not using it in WT. However, I think it’s a useful thing.
Knowing who on your team is competent and who isn’t, allows you to plan your battle strategy, including knowing whether a flank is in good hands or in hands that are most likely to fold and whether a person can be trusted to hold a cap Saves me time going in and checking their stat card. Anyone using it for harassment should be reported, though. Though, I think some naming and shaming is okay in some circumstances. Like that feature they added that shows you the lineup your teammates have brought. I regularly engage in some uh… conversation with one vehicle lineups, silly lineups and such.
Yeah idk about that they are doing what gaijin is too lazy to do. They have rankings for duels, missile ballistics, fm stats, comparasions and median stats and winrates per nation.
Just to be clear, as far as we can tell toggling that setting will only keep Statshark from gathering NEW data on a player. They will still have your record along with everybody else who has been in game since January, 2025, it just won’t be updated with new info while that toggle is set.
Not disagreeing with anyone here, just making sure people aren’t misinformed about what that toggle will likely do.
Presumably there’s a small number of users like staff who have freebies. As for total paid users, which is required to download it, Patreon as of today had 139. So that’s a pretty good guess at how many people maximum could use this so far.
I fully agree with simply not giving a crap abut what others think, or do.
However, there is a more insidious underlying issue to Statshark and that is the fact that one of its developers is a pretty well know hack developer, and incorporated tools that even allow him to disconnect an opposing player from a match.
Whether or not these things have been addressed by Gaijin and how connected the Statshark tools are I don’t know, but it sheds light on how little oversight there is from the Statshark group on their developers. Not a tool or team that should be supported by Gaijin imo. If they want that sort of info available to players, develop it in house.
KD is really only important in battles that count kills as wins - like death-matches. Not as important in ground domination games where holding a cap constantly drains tickets.
Above 50%? WTF? So only above average players have an opinion?
Cuz you realize 50% IS average.
Get off your high horse before you fall and hurt yourself.
How do one take and hold a cap ?
Do you play a game of poker with your enemies to decide who’s going to keep the cap or do you try to destroy each other ?
Fortune telling with tarot cards
You can close the function, which will not display your full record, but Statshark is quite good at easily identifying whether the players are good or not, especially when discussing a vehicle.
Statshark at least provides some support to analyze the vehicles’ statistics, which is better than Teamskill, which makes us know how good or bad the vehicles are, not just simply controlled by Gaijin itself(Till now, Gaijin still hasn’t shown the real vehicle performance data to us to prove their BR system is running correctly)
To be honest, we don’t even need the third-party site to judge, even at this forum, just search ID, and then you can see their records
