What I don’t understand is how the M53/59 can be a BR 6.3, while a Falcon without APDS and radar couldn’t be a BR 7.0 or 7.3.
Every day that passes, it becomes clearer to me that any random person could give the game a better balance than these devs.

The Falcon chassis is way better than the Praga, it has APHE, it’s fully enclosed, has bigger belts, not 50 round magazines and handles way better being fully stabilised. It’s miles ahead of the Praga.
Would’ve been fine at 7.7 without radar now the APDS is gone though.

But it doesn’t take long to reload, it penetrates deeper, and its truck chassis makes it much more resistant to bullets that aren’t HEAT or HE. I’ve used both vehicles, and in my opinion, the Falcon’s only clear advantage is its stabilizer and the fact that it can fire completely straight ahead.
So what are some lists they can obtain for that gap? Not just the UK but including from the Sub nations in the UK too.

You got the:
- Fox AA: Basically a British R3. Roughly around 5.7.
- Hotspur Sandringham: Basically a British Ystervark with better gun angles and double the guns. Probably also around 5.7.
- Alvis Scorpion S530: Might look like a radar dish, but that’s just the hatch. Probably go around 6.7.
- Vickers Valkyr: Still 20mm, but now has radar. Probably be 7.3 - 7.7.

Yes, yes, to all of those, please. Especially the baby Falcon (Alvis). I’m hoping with the addition of the AS90, that Gaijin is looking into other British designs to add in around the mid/mid-upper BR range (since they’re quite saturated 10.0+ due to the Soviet additions)

skink and bosvark. skink has terrible cannons but at least has a bit of protection
what about 5.3-6.7? asides from the G6 for 6.7 so 5.3-6.3? there is nout to use against jets and early jets
i find the praga more survivable than the falcon though both are good in my eyes even after the nerf of the falcon
i was kind of hoping that someone else could give legitimate examples for vehicles to be added in the gap since im not too familiar on the older vehicles like that even for my own country. i just play the game and enjoy the vehicles i know of, i dont try to dig deeper as im afraid ill cry from the lack of representation britain has when it comes to war thunder

i have definitely embraced the traktor recently especially after remembering how fast the rounds are on that thing. 1100m/s with the hvap belt is madness, i love it
Yeah there’s nothing really. I don’t really like the Skink at 5.3 either.
I agree the gap is awful, SPG’s with VT are the best option you have unfortunately.
we have more than enough options to fill the 7.7, 8.0 gap. For the 6.0 we have the fox aa which would just be an r3 for us. We could also just get a bofors with prox round for a 7.0 maybe but i doubt well ever see that.
