Hey, there is a reason why Starfighters have weird br in air rb ? I mean why F104J is at 10.3 with 6 missiles and Chinese F-104G at 10.7 with 4 missiles ?!! It so unbalanced and I still do not see why F-104S is 11.3 that thing is useless and worst than a 11.0 MiG 21bis. Someone have explanations ?

The italian 104G at 10.7 can only bring 2 AIM-9B/J

It has countermeasures, the Chinese G doesn’t - anyway, better off sticking to F104A.
To be fair the german 104G at the same br have both flares and 4 missiles
Really, after the introduction of the hungarian line There Is no reason to play the italian F-104. None of them

F-104G has flares. Remove the flares it’d be 10.0 - 10.3. Give the F-104J flares and it’d be 11.3.
ROCAF 104G doesn’t have CMs

I’d put the 104S at 11.0/11.3, and move the 21bis to 11.3.
I’ve spaded the German F-104G and it isn’t abysmal, but it’s still outclassed by many enemies. The F-104S gets way more power and more missiles, while retaining the same bombing capability.
2 more missiles (the same missiles) with an increase of 0.7 br that make It face far stronger enemy.
I assume that “way more Power” mean engine Power. Power that don’t change much as the 104S Is heavier

The German F-104G is 11.0, and the 11.3 F-104S is better than it is. However, the 104A ASA is just overtiered.
The S is heavier, but it’s also much more powerful and can go much faster.
“Better” in a far worse mm situation mean absolutly nothing.

It is a much better plane, so it should be a higher Br than the 104G.
I haven’t played it, but I think it might actually not be terrible at 11.3.
I have It,i have played It and Is unplayable. At that br Is Better play the Mig 23 MF
It’s also only equipped with 2 9Js, it doesn’t really matter that it has CMs
11.3 would be fine for S. S.ASA is doomed to be useless though as it gets a worse rwr than the S/G variants while being 12.0 facing amraams in uptiers
I would trade that for the Chinese one with 4 missiles.
They are about equally as bad. Chinese 104 cant defend itself and the Italian 104G can’t aggress.
