The K round offers more explosive filler and increased penetration at high angles.
It’s the round you should use if you play the 57.

I just showed you that the K round has worse angle pen…
I can not look at the round pen rn but i agree that the extra 6g of tnt wont change much. It isnt like the 85 where you can choose between 77g or 164g. The ballistic cap of the non-K is also very nice to have.
Well, you can just compare it to the german 75mm with ~29g. It does more damage than the soviet 57mm, but not by a large difference.
And that’s not all. The stock 85mm one has a bit more flat pen up to 500m, while the angle pen sucks on it. And also the upgraded one has more than 2x the TNT in it.
This guy just suffers from a form of what i like to call, the “Conqueror-syndrome”.
It is basically just looking at a single (or a few) stats of a tank/shell, and concluding that it must be OP/very good, while in fact, it is just trash.
I named it after the british Conqueror heavy tank, thanks to it’s “awesome” flat pen APDS (actually more flat pen than 120mm DM33).
But then everyone who ever played that tank will know, that it can barely pen anything, it shatters constantly, and the damage is non existent.
Yeah, i played the conqueror and, while i enjoyed penning tigers center mass, it didnt have the one-shit ability to justify taking it over something with a faster reload and good pen.
Best tank of the war was the Sherman, by a long shot.
The title doesn’t belong to a tank with “revolutionary” hard measures with no crew comfort or easy escape like the T-34, it belongs to the light, spacious, comfortable, and easy-to-escape M4. Crew survival statistics put it at the second highest of the war aside from the Churchill, which was much slower and heavier…
Of course, in a videogame, the T-34 may pull ahead by a little bit. But in reality, it was a bit of a mess to repair, again unlike the Sherman, and infinitely more cramped to the point where Soviet tankers loved their lend-lease Shermans far more.
Well sometimes it had problems even with the Tiger 2…
Like at ~1km and a bit angled, and it could barely pen it.
Nothing attracts attention like a bright green bush. I actually seem to do better without them to be honest.
And then good luck finding that tiny weak spot on the tank that is completly bushed up.
They don’t fool good players one bit. They just fire straight through them.
You don’t know this because you don’t have them presumably? I would happily sell them back to Gaijin of they wanted to scrap them.
Well, even good players complain it. Mind you, what tank you talk about?
Everybody knows the main ones inside out. You can’t cover all of it.
They see the tracks; know what it is. As soon as you fire it’s game up.
The muzzle flash tells everyone where you are including CAS.
You might surprise a newbie in low BR when you both round a corner in a town or get lucky if somebody mistakes you for a Panzer when you are an SP but the chances are they will hit you with AP anyway.
It’s a lot of money just to pay for the chance of that happening.
Check out a load of replays and the winner is rarely using bushes. It is just another grass is always greener myths. And speaking of that subject, how many maps will match the bush you bought?
They why would anybody even use bushes? Why would even content creators and good players say it is OP and pay to win?
Something does not add up here.
Its a pro ruZZian propaganda game, what do you expect?!
The game mechanics and physics are wrong Something happening to the armor value if the enemy is moving making the armor value magically high this happens a lot with Rus because of curved and sloped armor ofc other nations have some incredible moments but the Rus is just pure joke.
Physics should be fixed too you can’t pass some ditches and trenches barely but in reality, some tanks can pass an inclination of 60% slope here you can’t even climb on 20% for balance reasons too
banging on about stallinium armour.
im guessing you like to play the american tank range of completely unbelievable resilience, the m4a3 the M16a8 or whatever the fk its called
how about amerinium armour?
american bias?
I have refered again in my previous posts as others did too that ‘‘lucky times’’ have all nations tanks but with russian tanks its almost a standard fact especially with t-34s. The americans tanks that you have mentioned (i guess you mean m4a3e2 and m6a1) have pretty thick armor and its more logical to survive as the KVs too. Finally no i dont particulary like playing american tanks.
Yeah, there is no russian bias. Wanted to believe that too, when was playying germany at first. All ive been is mostly suffering up to 7.7 with rus. Russian bias talk is so bullshit :D. All ppl cry cause of 1tank. Ppl could also cry cause of maus or any strong plane or tank all nations have such things. 7.7France cry cry >_<
