I spaded all of them and they’re all garbage, but the F-5 isn’t going to give you premium rewards anyways, going to take however many months to even unlock without GE and as bad as the F4 is, you can just rush bases with it.

The “Italy and Hungary” comparison is not equal in this case tbh. Modern Italians and Hungarians don’t hate each other, but a large part of the Chinese player base especially in a game like this still will have serious resentment toward the Japanese :)

Yeah but “most of the time” doesn’t mean every time. In my experience with the F4EJ, US is very often on the opposite side.
Also I got the F5E FCU now, and just got the Python3.
As I expected, it’s a slow plane for 11.3 BR, but it can be made to work. It’s basically like playing an A6M3 in a 5.0 BR match. Everything is faster, but you can rate fight pretty much everything else until you meet Mirage 2000S and F-16.
It’s a monster in downtier tho. Flight performances of the F5E with 4 missiles that are functionally Aim9L is quite frightening for the 10.3 planes. It has 22+23 countermeasures with Mixed and since it drop them by 1, 22 pop is absolutely enough for most matches.
Also its DM is as busted as ever. I survived 2 gun hits from F-16 in a row and the plane was still fully flyable. Had enough time for an additional kill before the third gun hit killed me.
It’s still a far better experience flying that thing than the F4EJ or the F-1.
Pretty much yes, frustrating sometimes, But doable. If it went at 10.7 or 11.0, it most likely would dominate majority of the times.
Most people are ok with leaving Chinese vehicles out of the subtree, so long as the non-chinese vehicles get to stay. Thailand is one of the few Asian countries which doesn’t have issues with Japan, so we’d like to make a subtree work.
Of course we’d love to have some of the Thai owned Chinese vehicles present, but we understand it’s not an agreeable term at the moment :)
İ dont understand why people kept calling F4EJ ADTW trash all the time, sure its not the best plane at 11.0 but my personal experience was far from bein nightmare, in fact it was quite good.

I was hoping for a good addition to 11.0 BR tanks, but now I feel no urge to grind them. Waste of time and effort.
Ill get a plane for ARB, and thats it.
Maybe once they make a separate Br for GRB for Air vehicles, might be 11.0 to fit the 11.0 Line up while staying at 11.3 for Air RB. Can only hope.
Nah it’s objectively the worst 11.0 plane. Both the ADTW and the tech tree one (which is the one I was talking about specifically)
- Aim7E are terrible
- It doesn’t have access to the Aim7E-2(DF) which are on the US F4E, which are much better at close range.
- No leading edge slat (agile eagle upgrade), so the plane is a boat
- The radar is an oven that refuse to lock anything below 1000 meters of altitude. And since it doesn’t have the 7E2, the actual window for launching missiles at close range is way smaller. The 7E2 takes 0.7 seconds to start tracking after launch, while the E takes about 1.8 seconds.
The US F4E at the same BR has the agile eagle upgrades and the 7E2 DF, which makes it superior at a fundamental level.
Current matchmaking send the F4EJ in 12.0 match almost every time. F4S is already outclassed at this BR, so the EJ is in the worst spot possible.
It’s especially funny if you compare it to the Viggen model C, with a PD radar, a TWS, two Skyflash (which are 7E2 DF) and a much better flight model at the same BR.

Standart F4 issue and quite use to it, so doesnt bother me.

Consdering im playing 11.0-12.0 constantly i would say this claim is not true.
Or maybe its the Viggen and other 11.0 plane sitting at wrong br, not F4EJ.
You’d have to get every other fighters at 11.0 at a higher BR in that case. Because the F4EJ sits at the very bottom. Maybe the J7D is worse, but I’d call that one overtiered instead.
Viggen C doesn’t deserves 11.3 IMO. The D could go to 11.7 however.
I don’t even do that badly with the 4EJ I might add. I think I have a K/D of 1 or maybe a bit above that. But it’s certainly not a pleasant experience. The plane just isn’t fun to fly to me.

Compression is huge problem ever since this game released, ofc other 11.0 planes should recieve a br increasement depending on their overall performance.
İt can hold itself at 11.3 if general br increasement happens and even then 11.3 isnt the end of the world for Viggen C.
I have 3 K/D ratio in that plane, most of the time i was getting 10.3-11.3 mm which was a good place where you could test your skills with F4EJ ADTW.
Fair enough, personal preferences can be different.

Genuinely curious, because I’m currently playing a lot of 11.0-11.7 (F4 variants, F5E FCU, Mirage 2000-S4) matches and it’s almost always uptiered to 12.0 to 12.3.
