I don’t mind seeing F5E within Japan TT as long as the US and Thailand players agree. However, I am concerned about Japan TT having a whole Thailand TT with many vehicles that never have anything to do with Japan. Their connections were never the same as those in the Nordic countries.
Frankly saying, considering how Chinese TT was treated, with statistics manipulations and all that jazz, I am concerned that Ganjin will add a better version of Thailand VT4 or other vehicles to Japan TT rather than boosting Chinese TT up. And this should be the concern of most players who disagree with this.
I wouldn’t mind this plane itself as it gives more diverse choices to Japan TT, but making it a whole sub-TT as part of Japan is a no for me.
Unless you are happy to see JAS39C/D, AV8, VT4, M60A1, M48A5, Stringray, M113, Stryker, VN1, FV603, YW531H, T84, M41, AT6 Wolverine, and other ships(mainly from US, China, Spain and Korean) join in japan TT while they has nothing to do with japan at all.
*Not saying it should be other countries’ sub-TT tho, I’d rather see it have its own TT, or all vehicles split to their original sellers.
You notice how bad this VT4 was in the game, right? Frankenstein part from all different variants. I am not trying to be your enemy here. Still, before these thanks can become as reliable as they are designed to be, I am opposing a country with nothing to do with having another country’s top-tier vehicles without appropriate reason. Thailand isn’t a part of Japan, and neither Japan provides these weapons. That’s all I can say, you may have your own points, yet that’s your freedom.
And no, i do not have a problem with adding F5E to Japan, as long others are happy to. I am just here to tell you the concerns that many may have.
Sure, but one could argue it’s about equal to the connection Italy and Hungary have. I’d even argue Thailand operated more Japanese vehicles.
This is a fair concern. No Thai VT-4 should be added without China receiving or already having an equal. And if this is really too much of a concern due to politics I don’t even want to start with again, the forum suggestion shows that the Chinese vehicles aren’t absolutely necessary for a good subtree either.
That is sort of what a subtree does, considering everything the main nation has to do with would already end up in said main nation without a subtree. I believe China for example has a few export vehicles they never used themselves, because they made them.
Basically, a subtree is an exchange of a higher variety of vehicles for the main nation, for more extensive representation of the subtree nation. Ideally this brings unique vehicles, modifications of vehicles ar at least weapon loadouts (in the case of aircraft) otherwise unseen in game that aren’t enough for their own tree.
So the only other option for players of such nations to play their nations technology would be to jump between nations, with inconsistent lineups and (while often minor) inaccuracies to the vehicles their military used.

yep pretty much, as far as diversity, I really don’t mind here. I’m not gonna even go into politics, but this shouldn’t be in for top tiers unless there is a really strong connection, such as operating it or producing it. That’s all I’m saying really. When they are not Top tier, I really don’t care. since from here they don’t represent one country’s flagship performance. Which is considered based on game balance. Thanks for the recap, lovin it.
I don’t think there will be much issues with it. So far I seen a lot of positive feedback in youtube comments about the F-5E FCU addition to Japan TT and from other places. Many of them agree and are comfortable with the addition. A risky move for Gaijin to make since it can back fire or not know how players would react, so far, everything is looking positive.

Could drop as TT though, if we are talking about a draken being a squadron vehicle then mostly its gonna be the Striker variant of the draken thats gonna be a squadron vehicle. but again I’d prefer the Norwegian F5A.
