Idk, I mostly play bombers or strikers honestly. I occasionally fight, but I mean, just watch for the Vix, it’s relatively large, and the missiles aren’t that maneuverable.

you couldn’t respond properly to me flaming you in the sea vixen thread so you come here lol, your stats are padded by the sea vixen in sim, atleast i’m trying to learn sim and not rely on pay 2 win dogshit like you

What was there to respond? That you can’t look behind your plane? lmao

the 50km radar that gives you all the information you need to avoid threats before they even see you and ambush them is the main problem, but 15g overload is crazy work for 8.3 where no missiles exceptlike the nords are present

okay lemmeput it here for you to re read cuz there was a lot for you to respond to :)

that is so dumb.
also whats the range increase with ace crew?

it’s 20% increase over expert, expert is 30% increase over max crew
max crew is 50% increase over stock crew

that is insane, what the fuck

Ok? If you can’t handle missiles it’s still a skill issue

The plane has better performance than everything at the BR and gets to launch reasonably good missiles at planes that do not have flares.

A paraplegic troglodyte could do well in the Sea Vixen.

Realistic game with 0 pay to win by the way. Can gaijin add that bulb which appears every time enemy spots you?

One thing to be mindful of is not to stare intently at the screen in an attempt to find the dots. Relax your shoulders, broaden your gaze, and try to view the entire screen as a single image.

Also, avoiding staring in the same direction for more than 10 seconds is important to prevent being caught off guard.

However, I think the ability to find dots on the screen largely develops naturally as your eyes become accustomed to the task.
I couldn’t find them at all at first either, but rather than a dramatic change due to conscious effort, it felt like I was able to do it without even realizing it.
The ability to adapt intuitively takes time to acquire. The important thing is to keep going at your own pace without giving up.
Please do your best!

Ive always been an advocate for the removal of keen vision from rb and sim but the snail refuses to even acknowledge that it is a problem

Also, don’t underestimate indirect hints that help with situational awareness:

  • contrails
  • wing vortices
  • shadows (sometimes better visible at close distances than the actual aircraft if well camouflaged)
  • movement
  • fire and explosions/smoke (note: can well be also used to ID what side an aircraft is: if blue AI troops fire at it, aircraft is red, and vice versa…)
  • killfeed
  • disappearing markers (e.g. for bombed targets)
  • communications

kinda cool ngl, players just stop rendering beyond 10km tho i can still see their engine smoke

It is much much faster and better accelerating than anything it faces in 8.3 or 8.7BR.

It is far and away the best performing 8.3 in the game and has been for years. A dyslexic monkey could do well in it.

It only has 4 missiles and they only pull 12Gs. The burn time is extremely short. You can’t rate fight with it. They can be easily defeated and then the Sea Vixen is forced to RTB.

There’s no discussion to be had here lmao.

No wonder this guy’s defending Sea Vixen to the teeth, it’s his main…
