Spawns really need more protection

There is nothing more infuriating in this game that dying, respawning, moving 5 feet then getting bombed or sniped again. The current spawn protection is awful, a few seconds of invulnerability then once you move, bang. Half the time in a RB Ground Forces match if a team gets on a roll from a good start lots of them make a beeline for the enemy spawn often making for very short (and frustrating) games.

A few simple steps to at least discourage spawn attacks.

  • a 100m square radius of the spawn is a no go zone, all spawning tanks are invulnerable until they move out or fire their gun (they cannot regain invulnerability if they move back in).

  • Bot controlled SPAA to keep planes from vulturing spawns, if the SPAA dies: a new one respawns after a minute.
