SPAA Radar screen needs to be removed/changed

Dropping unguided bombs takes skill, would you want Gaijin to remove guided bombs and ccip from modern jets?

Is it so hard to use gps bombs/missiles against stationary targets?

The mult-vehicle sam could have been implemented in much better ways. giving them two at the start i think is a major issue with this along with a free ammo refill. maybe one to start, then the next vehicle in ~5 minutes.

of course toptier spaa can start with 2 vehicles from the get go but god forbid i want to spawn in a drone with one life and never have a refill unless i cap the point (which also has a slight cooldown to start in with)

not if there is a huge screen saying “BOMB: ENEMY” and they can easily select it and shoot it down with, no joke, less than 2 clicks

If you drop them at 8km plus ofc that happens, you have to drop them closer and low.

Multiple vehicles are necessary to hide launchers and have enough missiles to anti-sead in shrot notice

Which is a good way to get a TK because you don’t see the friendly near the guy you are shooting at.

There has been at least 1 form of completely un-countable CAS in the game since PARS was added in September 2019, and still is given the DIRCCM overperformance and rotor PD returns not being a thing in game.
CCIP and CCRP can put bombs and rockets on radar SPAAGs from outside their effective range, Walleyes can track lock from the same range as a stinger can front lock them or point lock from well outside it and just toss the bomb in letting the seeker auto acquire when it gets closer, even non IR Mavericks can point lock outside the range of most of the earlier SAM systems and the new SAMs are mostly stuck shooting munitions as the new helis are immune to them, the old helis are immune to the radar ones and planes can just toss GNSS glide bombes at the spawn until something gets through.
So yeah, people are mad at CAS.

wanna guess how this ended?

did you forget that theres a nametag and marker on the allied vehicle? unless you are playing sim ofc but cmon

also assuming they are close and having a dogfight, let them at it. One will eventually die, also ive been in countless dogfights where i’ve been killed by friendly aa, enemy aa, and the enemy jet died to his allied aa, or my allied aa

From a player who loves cas but also loves dogfighting, for the love of god please stop interrupting them

to be fair, that is a horrible spot to be in

yes, that is why you leave the friendly markers on, so you can see if they are close, not all the SPAAs have the camera view and friendly name tag don’t show on the radar screen and I wouldn’t gamble on seen a friendly tag even with the camera view when engaging at 20+km.

Notice the lack of an optical view?

why would there need to be an optical view for a vehicle with no gun

why is this a bad thing

So how am I supposed to see the friendly name tags at 20km+ with no optical view? Hence why I stated that turning friendly radar contacts off is a good way to collect a TK.

But a lot of players like to play tanks bro we also don’t want to be interrupted by CAS dropping bombs on us in the middle of tank duels bro . CAS degens has been cockblocking tanks from having fun since 2014, now it’s CAS degen’s turn to eat their own 💩

Which you cannot open while in the radar screen, so you have to keep closing the radar, opening the map, checking for friendlies, closing the map, reopening the radar, kind of awkward when you have multiple enemies hurling bombs and missiles at you.

Cringe Norway user vs Superior Lego user

even based off of the old school radar, it is really easy to differentiate between allied vs enemy vehicles. is it extremely difficult to where it comes the point you need the game to directly tell you whether or not if the vehicle is allied or an enemy?
