So you make SPAA not worth spawning at all then. Nobody is going to drain 200 SP for a unit that can’t do anything but sit at spawn and plink at planes, and relegating players to use the old SAMs will just shift the balance to CAS again. The current system is fine imo.

Not worth spawning? HUH? Its worth to do the same thing that it’s already doing. With the free SPAA spawn now + the new systems it is crazy how unbalanced the SP balance is in favor of spaa. Either CAS sp needs to go down, or SPAA sp needs to go up. That being said helicopters with faf missiles needs to go up to at least the same sp as the planes with ir guided weapons as well.
This is because modern warfare doesn’t need a lot of skills, if anything Gaijin doesn’t do it enough justice
I want neither, the costs are fine. If anything, the ADATS should go to 200 SP, it’s literally a tank destroyer disguised as a SPAA that costs next to nothing. Now that’s criminal.

Be my guest. How are people even dying or consider “ARH” OP that they are crying for insane SP costs, it’s the most trivial an easy thing to dodge in a plane. An ADATS is more scary and annoying than say something like a SPYDER or a HQ11 or SAMP-T at close range.
The only SAMs I think need adjustments are IR SAMs like the SLM and AIM-9X (if it were up to me these should have never been added) but you can play around those if you know what you are doing.
I love flying CAS and playing SPAA and I think there is literally nothing wrong with the current system, it’s on you for dying to something you could have avoided.
I think people just have a really hard time learning how to dodge the new missiles despite them being added months ago, I also hated facing the IRIS-T because I had no idea how to deal with it, nowadays I can deal with them just fine though

Yeah this might come up as a bit of a shocker to some, but spawning CAS does not mean you are entitled to just “win”. The current balance around CAS/SPAA is fine.
The only issue I have with the way things are currently is the price of pure air to air loadouts being too high but I guess Gaijin doesn’t want people spawning cheap air to air loadouts early to strafe people
Alot of players do this btw, they do spawn spaa early game and (i’d assume) keep the radar screen open or an eye on the battlefield from spawn until the first enemies start flying, that is if anyone flies anymore.

And these people are heroes, the radar screen is absolutely necessary for these systems to work.
This is me in the HQ-11, except I don’t ever use the radar screen because I find it too clunky

Do you remember what the pantsir on release was like? I remember being in games where 2-4 people would spawn in with it and the map became a no-fly zone, each gaining around 3-5 kills each ranging from the predator drones to helis to aircraft, achieving all this without having a radar screen btw
I’ve never played multi vehicle AA because the chinese tree lacks one but I imagine playing without the radar screen is impossible for them, they’re just too different from the usual stuff
Yeah but Pantsir =/ Multi Vehicle SAM. I’d argue that the radar screen is quite useless on SPAAs like the FlaRakRad or Pantsir, I find it not that useful. But it works for these new systems.
So then basically, what you are telling me, is that before the radar screen was added to the game, those who actually played top tier spaa needed an understanding of how radar works, AND had to be good at it? Is that correct? You are basically saying that without it, it becomes way too hard and unplayable. Meaning that adding it means that it took away skill from good players and made it easier to play spaa
