yeah, you can definitely get some more manoeuvring range out of the missile if you properly control it yourself, but even then, if your target is appropriately manoeuvring for the majority of the flight time of your missile its simply not going to have the energy to intercept them. Basic rule of thumb is just always assume you’ve been fired on whenever your within 20km of the AO and act with that assumption in mind. Sure u can get unlucky sometimes and get clapped while pulling 9g’s at 15km, but 9.5/10 times out of 10 you wont if your doing what you should.
The supposed ease at which enemy cas is able to hide inside their friendly AA effectively is very much overstated, to deliberately ‘hide’ inside their AA tm8’s effective envelope they would need to be flying within at least 12km or so of the AO themselves, which opens them up to enemy AA at the same time. Not at all a safe thing to try and with a exceptionally small margin of error to deliberately do with any consistency at all. Will certainly agree about the TY-90 tho, that thing is an absolute menace to deal with. As far as the 9m is concerned - you will have the same issue with literally every single IR missile getting coincidentally decoyed by a perfectly timed flare or missile launch, its just plain old bad luck that everyone has to deal with. Good thing is 9m’s are by far the more effective missile to use in ground battles and sim for the majority of situations, the smokeless motor in tandem with tracking suspension IRCCM is very difficult to counter without missile markers, especially for things with limited CM counts like all Russian vehicles. It is a no doubt a tricky environment to work around when the pantsir is up, but you still have more than enough capability to still effectively do your job with all the top br nato fighters.
One question, how do yall deal with helicopters that hovering in their helipad launching AGM at our spawn? Then land to dodge the missiles, is it even worth spawning an SPAA to counter it

Hi, Given that this thread is full of arguments or involves politics i’ll be locking it.
Also ignoring a staff members comment just to continue the conversation is not really advised.
SPAA’s will be added to most nations next year, i don’t know the details on what is going to be added or to what nation, just going off Dev/CM comments.
