SPAA at 9.3-10.3 is hilariously OP and i see no one talking about it

Would love to but the longer my vehicle lives, the more likely it gets killed by CAS, I don’t mind if you kill me with a tank 10 times in a row, because that’s my fault but if you use drone to kill my tank, I don’t wanna play with you.

Even drones?

Someone who is only good at CAS and mid at best at anything on the ground thinks CAS takes a lot of skill. In other shocking news: falling into the water causes you to become wet.

And I’m supposed to care that you think CAS “takes a lot of skill” because?

Right back at you buckaroo.

Height advantage negates most of cover provided by terrain and most maps cant be played effectively by sticking to forests and buildings.

This is a discussion, if you dont care for what Renzo thinks, why should ANYONE care for what YOU think?

As soon as SPAA is up (missile BR’s) CAS does take skill, with exceptions.

You feel the need to constantly tell people how much skill CAS takes. Now the real question is, do you keep saying it to convince others or to convince yourself that it’s true?

Because if you were that confident that CAS takes a lot of skill, you surely wouldn’t have to repeat it that much.

Found a new way to test out whether a map has terrain for cover.
Can everyone do non-kamov helirush?

Oh, btw, afaik about stingers, he is using 92e not k, so you can dodge that 2nd one. Can we have server sensor replay to verify this?

Even if he was using K Stingers he wouldn’t have touched me in that clip, either. K Stingers are only marginally better than E Stingers in WT. Again, Stingers as a whole are just dogwater and Gaijin continues to reject what’s provided to correct them. All because IRL they outperform Iglas just like other NATO Manpads and Gaijin chooses to stay in a cope and seethe circle about it.

The only gunless spaa in that BR range? The Type 93 and Strela say hello.

This video is definitive proof that SPAA is not hilariously OP, actually. It shows it’s defeatable contrary to what the OP of the thread stated at the start. You’re completely missing the forest for the trees and it shows.

I mean its not like iglas are doing any better pretty sure the K variant is way better, uncaged seeker, more range, faster, bigger proxy. If you get them buffed you’ll just get all them moved up like the strela out of 9.x.

ZSU at 9.3 with the iglas is probably the saddest SPAA ive played.

To be fair the Ozelot has no business being at 9.7 and is overdue for a drop to 9.3 with the Type 93.

Now if they stop artificially gimping the Stingers and other NATO manpads and fix the optical lock because it’s worthless against low-flying helis, then we can revisit the BRs.

Also, the Tan Sam needs to come back down from 11.7 - Gaijin needs to stop being cringe.

Those helis and planes should’ve acted as if the AA was always there tbh, skill issue

I mean I agree, they are kinda hsndcrushing CAS with the BR these things are at, but with how they have spaa now if they get buffed significantly I doubt they keep them at 9.7.

With how it is now pretty sure even most 8.0 jets can dodge both of them if they aren’t low energy so idk why they are 9.7 minumum.

Probably could move every missile spaa from 10.3 on down by .3 br.

Roland at 10.3 is maybe the only thing as miserable as the zsu at 9.3 that I have played.

Even BR for BR for example the Type 93, Ozelot, Chaparral - Also has no guns btw - are all easily outranged by the large majority of the CAS they face. They fight stand-off munition that outrange them. Hell, because optical lock has been broken even lower BR helicopters with ATGMs can abuse treeline approach to kick their teeth in while same-BR helis can just laugh and throw ATGMs at them while they’re trying to navigate the AO to maybe get close enough to get a missile off.

And yes, because NATO Manpads are gimped even lower BR subsonic jets with situational awareness and decent energy retention piloting can defeat them. In the video you saw me using the F-30 Sabre which is 8.3BR. If the Stingers were realistic, I would’ve been knocked out of the sky from the first launch.

And yeah, Rolands are awful. The SACLOS nerf only hurt them even more.

Sorry, but that’s just simply skill issue. Most people know how to use terrain and props as cover effectively.

You’re the only one who’s said that buddy.

I’ve been saying that SPAA is braindead easy to play, even more so than CAS.

Pretty sad comparison, even for CAS hater standards.

Evading SAMs makes you extremely vulnerable to CAP. Taking cover from CAS also covers you from enemy tanks.

buddy i would sodomize you.

No, it already can fight plenty of planes which don’t even have flares, no need to increase that.

It’s already one of the scariest AA’s there is.
It small, doesn’t emitt radar signal and is fairly small.
If you don’t stay in spawn like a bot, everthing you shoot at just dies because of undefeatable irccm.
