SPAA at 9.3-10.3 is hilariously OP and i see no one talking about it

Let me say this even more simply for you. We have the data for Gepard: air kills (per spawn/total) ground kills (per spawn/total), and deaths. We do not know the K/D of Gepard against air targets from the data that you linked, because we do not know how many of those deaths are from aircraft. This goes for any SPAA.

What we can extrapolate, however, is that: majority of interactions of base Gepard are with tanks (because there are more than 3x more ground kills than air kills with Gepard). Therefore, most deaths are probably to tanks as well. Gepard is not especially suited to ground combat (although it can be powerful in the hands of a pro), so it’s low KDR can be at least partially explained by its incorrect use by players.

Yeah.

Now imagine something like the swiss hunter, they wont even have the range to threaten it.

But hey, SPAA OP, am i right?

So let us make a small discussion.

What a gun SPAA without HE-VT can do about a heli that is able to use guided rockets at 3.5 km distance?

Not to mention the missile spaa can’t even lock low flying helis even though IRL they can.

Because optical still doesn’t work like it’s supposed to. Thanks Gaijin, very cool.

I know what you are looking for and its context. But thats irrelevant here. Even if what you are saying is true OP vehicles would be visible on stats regardless how vehicle is used.

Gaijin uses automated algorithm which tracks data and when some point is triggered BR is changed. The issue is we as players don’t know which data Gaijin uses, what are trigger points and what is their threshold.

Strela-10M (10.3) in USSR, UK, Germany, Italy tech trees. LAV-AD (10.0). ZSU-23M4 (9.3) . Type 93 (9.3…). All are at lower battle ratings than they should, or otherwise overpowerful.

I dont think anyone needs to say anything anymore.

This comment right here says it all.

So full with your self-righteousness that you think everybody else believes you. Yet you have presented no logic, no reasoning; you are only exposing your own arrogance and idiocy…

Imagine thinking the Type 93 is overpowered.

Holy hell that’s some clinical insanity.

Calling other people idiots doesnt help your case at all.

EDIT: what do you mean 7k ground kills?

Probably just from arty kills.

Oh right i forgot.

Was worried for a second, because i dont want to meet a person who can get ground kills in a vehicle that cant kill ground units lmao.

That have to fight A-10A that can take it out from around 8km?

Same to all of them, not to mention helis.

Also fun fact

Currently the best AA in game, Pantsir, which outranges most western CAS planes, has only slightly above 1.0 KD.

Statistics mean nothing without context. That’s why people like you can take it out of context and make terrible arguments with it.

Type 93 is a good SPAA with optical imaging, dual band IR missiles at 9.3. Its qualities are very powerful at the BR.
But unlike most nations, Japan went an extremely long time without a top tier SPAA (so taking Type 93 to top tier often). As of right now there is no SPAA in Japanese tech tree until the Tan-SAM at 11.7. Maybe you could use some critical thinking to determine why the stats are as they appear?

Literally one of 2 AAs that can be called OP.

Pantsir and Strela, though at least Strela got hit with a BR raise so it’s got stiffer competition to deal with in terms of CAS. Iglas are still overperforming, though.

It’s called an 9M37M Strela-10. Did you think it has Iglas??

Artillery. (or lock unto a plane or friendly drone and launch straight into a non-suspecting BT-5 or SPAA haha)

The issue with context is subjectivity while data is not subjective. Thats why only data is looked at while doing stats. Gaijin is looking only at data while calculating BRs, context is disregarded because its impossible to quantify it.
