Nothing in this game is difficult if you frame it as “Somewhat competent person A presses the ‘deal damage’ button at incompetent person B”.
This is part of the reason why the relationship between SPAA and CAS is so hard to discuss. Both sides of the discussion need to have an honest interpretation on the amount of power different aspects of vehicles have.
CAS is kill streak award of 600-900sp. They are designed to have advantage. If you want things equal if not biased, get them 100sp.
Maybe SPAA players at this BR are just struggling to adapt to an environment where they can simply point and click to wipe out everyone in the sky with ease.
Original point still stand. If someone is going to ridicule someone for supposedly not doing well with a vehicle, they should at least be able to do well with that vehicle themselfs.
Doesn’t matter why or how, with a 0.7 K/D he is in no position to talk shit to other players when it comes to the Chaparral.
I don’t have the Imp Chapparal yet, but I’ve got a 2,2 kd in the Lvrbv 701, also a SAM launcher at Rank 6 although it’s 9.7… I really, really don’t think it’s a problem with too few planes spawning.
Yeah, chapparal is only okay imo. The M247 is just too good even in a full uptier +.3. I think Gaijin thought it would somehow be on par with the ozelot and completely forgot how OP it is to be the size of a sedan.
SPAA in general seems to fall into two categories:
Absolutely shuts down the airspace until a massive BR or skill disparity allows a plane/heli to knock it out.
Simple bullet/missile spammer that anyone could figure out how to use, but generally just gets the user killed by a stiff breeze and is only a threat to aircraft that completely ignore that it exists.
The SPAA lifestyle ain’t for everyone. I’m happy first spawning AA and just waiting. Patient. Unbothered. Moisturized. Happy. In my lane. Focused. Flourishing.
