SP price imbalance between gun-missile air defense systems and aircraft in Ground Realistic Battles

When are they going to raise the Spawn Point (SP) cost for SPAAGs? For instance, at the start of a match, you can take the Pantsir-SM-SV for just 70 SP. Since a death awards 50 SP, landing a few hits on an enemy tank is enough to recoup the initial cost. And what if you destroy a tank, plane, or drone, and get an assist? That’s 200 SP per kill, plus 80 for the assist, plus 50 for the death—meaning with just a simple move, you end up with 4.5 times more SP then you spent. Meanwhile, a top-tier aircraft with anti-radiation missiles costs around 830 SP, yet the SM-SV can easily shoot down, say, four of those missiles because it can guide a missile against multiple targets simultaneously; it then takes out the launch aircraft, leaving the pilot with no escape—neither terrain masking nor countermeasures will help. Consequently, the Pantsir gains another 200 SP, while the pilot loses 830; in most cases, the pilot simply heads back to the hangar, as they no longer have enough SP for anything else.

Tanks cant counter top tier aircract at all, SPAA is the only hard counter and 9 times out of 10 its a support vehicle at best.

spaa costs 70 SP, and the aircraft is 830. there is no balance. and tanks like al-khalid has target tracking and proxy fuse, it can easily destroy aircraft from like 8km

When you have no arguments left and sending a video of a laughing guy:

my brother in christ you claim tank can hit a jet at 8km with a shell with muzzle velocity of 850m/s or so. That would take roughly 10 seconds of flight time in vacuum and without gravity and the jet would have to fly consistently in same direction/speed/alt.

in war thunder there is no physics. and im not russian

I can 100% assure you probability of a 8km hit with tank shell on a jet borders with winning a lottery.

Well it should NOT be balanced. CAS has the potential to have a significantly greater effect on the battle than spaa.

If you want the ability to reign destruction on the battlefield from the air, you need to pay a large premium. No one is forcing you to spend your SP in that way.

Air kills for the Al-Khalid represent 1.3% of it’s total kills. Does not seem significant to me.

And not sure what you are complaining about. You don’t even use spaa like the XM246 to shoot down planes. You have 390 ground kills to go along with a whopping 86 air kills.

Oh come on. You really do not seem sincere on this.

The sd.kfz 251/21, armed with 15mm mgs, has ground kills that represent 26% of it’s total kills.
THAT is significant.

Try again.
