I don’t right now, I’ve been grinding top tier Germany and don’t have the FlaRakRad so I don’t play SPAA atm. I play with several friends who among them use the ADATS FlaRakRad and Pantsir and they say its the easiest, most boring thing ever. They press one button to lock radar and click once to launch missile.

The reason you spawn spaa with AP belts is supporting your team as td or against heavy armored helicopters/planes/jet.

Well it does take some skill to play SPAA, for example you have to have good aim and lead your shots properly.

Vast majority of SPAA isn’t just shooting missiles and it’s the most challenging and most unrewarding and boring shit you could possibly do.

That may be true for top tier. But pre radar SPAA is very hard to use effectively. You also barely get rewarded(directly with sl/rp), and you are very venerable to aircraft.

The other day someone got a nuke in a Falcon in like 5 minutes, always surprising people never talk about that one which has been the most potent SPAA TD for the longest time.

CAS costs are fine, the problem is that Russia, and to a lesser extent Germany, are the only nations which get adequate SPAA options. ADATS (AIR DEFENCE anti-tank system) is labelled as a tank destroyer. The UK’s highest SPAA is an 8.3 gun SPAA… No bias in this game btw…

Yeah, when you shoot down an aircraft you get this cool thing where it says “Aircraft Destroyed”, and it gives you RP and SL
