British Battleships had some of the best survivability IRL.
The Soyuz would have been completely impossible for the soviets to have actually built.
The round is total work of fiction that is able to pen dozens of layers of armour.
Meanwhile, not even Yamato with her 18" guns can pen the armour of the Soyuz
Soyuz should never have been added to the game in its current state. We now need to wait 2-3 years for equivalent paper ships to be added to other nations and hopefully with some of the same ahistorical buffs the soyuz has recieved like unrealistically little shell dispersal

Isn’t raking fire (hits to citadel through the unarmored bow/stern) known to be quite lethal in this game irrelevant of how long your ship’s schnoz is? Barring ships that actually have ridiculous armor up there (guess who!), going bow-in is usually a great way to eat dirt and explode.
Nothing else would have been able to pen me in that angle. though I wasnt doing it intentioanlly. I was turning hard and the Syouz caught me at the perfect time. Though the 4 rounds I fired back at him all non-penned.

Agreed on the Montana part, she’d fill in the USN lineup pretty nicely. Definitely hoping they also give the US the two incomplete Iowas, BBG-1 especially would be pretty fun, ditto with the proposed Illinois refit (4 x 4 8"/55s on an Iowa). As for Project 24 (Kremlin), she’s pretty iffy considering the lack of a finalized design.

There’s enough information on what they were aiming for, we know it would have 457mm guns or even 406, greater anti-aircraft defense, displacement at 91,000 tons at full load, Length would be around 300m and Beam at 40-45m, Belt would be 420mm, deck 200~ and turret faces would be over 500mm. It was designed to exceed vessels such as Yamato and Iowa.
A-150 class battleship should also be considered if they went down this route.
