Just from the image it looks like the 25mm M242 option
Not sure about the ATGMs, the brochure for the turret doesn’t go into more detail than just “ATGMs” either

MMPMs, trust me bro
They do have radar, back when they’re still in the US :/

Anyway, knowing Gaijin, they’ll gonna give it everything that it could carry despite the owner nations not having them IRL, as long as they still has the capability to use it. Indonesian Mi-35P comes in mind when talking about ahistorical loadout.
but thats the AH-64D, that aint the E model we have as ive stated in my post above
Wait, just to clarify. I’m a little confused.
Did they use the repainted 64D for the actual fly past? Because from the Instagram link and the ANTARA picture they used the plain Apaches.
yeah i’ve made a mistake there, @Indo_Pilot was correct. That was in fact the helis to be delivered circa 2017 ish in the US, with the radar. But evidently not when it arrived in Indonesia

1st batch (2017) = 3 units by plane
2nd batch (2018) = 5 units by ship
What im talking about is the ANTARA photos one
The flyover & rehearsal in 2014 was indeed conducted using US AH-64D though, and that version (as it belongs to the US) does have the radar

like we COULDVE gotten it, we MIGHTVE just kept it hidden for some reason, but it HASNT been spotted in the wild on the ID Apache yet. The sale DID include it though, and I dont think it was changed at any point, but again, no evidence

its just if we do just keep it hidden, for what purpose exactly? its not like its some secret technology, and besides the Army didnt include the thing even when they showcased the Apaches on fairs and stuff
Ah okay. The Instagram comments were right then. Super Garuda first then Fly past.
I had a draft ready to post but yeah. It boiled down to:

Note: For those who don’t know yet, the AH-64D Block III was redesignated AH-64E very early 2013. This document was from 2012 which predates the change in designation.
Edited as a showcase. Maybe some would like to show some love to the source chad.
The pictures of a ‘TNI’ Apache with the Longbow radar was sourced in Dec 15th 2017 from ways_shiva (now Shiva_Kaizen)
This is an earlier post dated Oct 17th 2017.

I just realized bro used Monaco flag instead of Indo lmao

you do have to wonder though if it was ready and shows there, equipped on the helis, why werent it sent to us (if it didnt)
My best guess is a last minute budget crunch even if I want to believe it actually came.
It’s not like keeping it in storage is protecting “expensive” hardware. We fly jets and use tanks more expensive than the ‘Konde’ itself. Maybe limited amount of 4 made them very protective, fearing no more purchases possible but that’s such a stretch.
tbf the Air Force is currently doing that so its not too far fetched, Cant really say what it is but it is related to the Sukhois, we only got a couple in inventory & they only appeared once or twice and now are just sitting in the hangar
Also, like the JHMCS for the F-16s I guess, which (to my knowledge) had only one public appearance, so this isn’t out of the ordinary
True. Though I was under the impression the Flankers barely go out because the scarcity of spares, past few years made it hard to do so regularly.
The JHMCS is a good example. What’s curious is that the upgrade slideshows doesn’t show the JHMCS module being part of the eMLU upgrade nor was it listed on the DSCA for the 52ID C/Ds. What aircraft other than F16s in TNI’s inventory would use JHMCS?
its not the flanker itself, its something that can be fitted to the flanker
not armament though, its something a bit more mundane
Oh is it the Belo-Pod? I’ve barely seen them.
cant confirm nor deny 🙂

alright time to summarize ID rumors/news again
Kendari is most certainly will be equipped with the J-10B, now the Makassar one is quite interesting, what is there? Flankers, could be just that, but what is the current rumors circulating?
MiG-29 Agressor squadron. loaned (for some reason) from K̶a̶z̶a̶k̶h̶s̶t̶a̶n̶ A Third-Party Company. Basis for this? KERIS asked a hypothetical question, and people thought it was a secret reveal, and not a theoritical question.
Personally I dont think its true, but hey it is circulating so theres that. Just something to keep in mind.
Now another news
The Vice MoD (surprise surprise) denies the deal is concluded and reached. The What’s interesting isnt that, its this piece:
General Anil Chauhan even offered to modify Indonesian Sukhoi jets to make them compatible with BrahMos technology. This offer included missile integration for land, sea, and air strike missions. However, the plan has not yet been implemented due to the lack of a basic contract.
“So, there were no plans. The modifications were offered to modify our Sukhoi jets to carry BrahMos. But we haven’t purchased BrahMos ourselves, and we haven’t yet. There’s no contract in that direction, so there’s nothing yet,” said Deputy Defense Minister Donny.
So no plans to modify with Brahmos because we havent bought it yet, but As ive stated before, the Deal/MoU has been signed, so could we see Sukhois with BrahMos in the future? 🤔

lowkey I find it funny how hes the Director of Business at BTI Defence and the man has a Gru PNG as a profile picture
