So apparently its not guaranteed as of yet

Likely usual fog of war stuff. Some nations will deny having stuff in service for years even when there is 100% proof. Though J-10 may be different due to stuff.

Now it seems that the vehicles Gaijin will use for the bidding have also been taken as the basis for release. So do Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia have such vehicles that have undergone testing? The only one I know of is Malaysia’s T-84.

Oh I forgot this ,it’s a T90S?

list of trialed vehicles for Indonesia:

Ground

SK-105 (unknown variant but has night sight)

Wiesel 1A4

ERC 90 F1 Lynx

AMX-13/retrofit

SK-105 & Wiesel were tested for actual purchase, SK-105 lost to the Scorpion 90, Wiesel sale got blocked because of the East Timor thing. ERC 90 was tested in conjunction with the arrival of the AMX-10P, AMX-13 is a foreign modification spec trialed by the Cavalry that might be the basis for the Yonkav 2,

for details on the amx-13/retrofit check here: PT PINDAD AMX-13/105 Retrofit (Yonkav 2) - Indonesia's modernization program for the aging AMX-13 fleet - #7 by NFrost51

Air

AMX

Mirage-2000

AMX lost to the Hawks 100/200s since its more expensive to maintain. Our pilots flew the Mirage-2000 for the competition of contract between it & the F-16s, M2000 was deemed too expensive so Dassault then offered Super Etendard instead, but both eventually lost to the F-16, Super Etendard was not tested i dont think.

Thailand has tested and trialed a lot of vehicles. I’ve listed some of them in another thread.

But in short, here are some of them

This one is also more interesting than it sounds at least, since it uses the welded turret rather than the cast one all current Leopard 1A5s use in game

As I understand it, the Thai Army didn’t buy the BTR-3E1 with the 90mm CMI CSE90LP, but they did test it.

no radar & DIRCM is correct, hopefully they didnt mess it up

walkaround:

AFAIK helis that have FnF munitions yet don’t have DIRCM suck quite a lot given they are placed at practically the same BR as these who have both FnF and (L)DIRCM.

Haven’t played helis w/ FnF munitions, especially at top tier, but I wonder how Gaijin will handle the BR (ain’t no way this will be the same BR as Mi-28NM)

Was hoping they mess up with DIRCM

in the video (~5mins mark) you can see that the DIRCM module isnt there, what it has is a Missile warning system in its place

I haven’t seen the Komodo with an autocannon, do you have a picture?

I think he meant this one

Komodo with Cockerill CPWS Gen. 2

Interesting. Has it been trialed at all? It looks promising. That gun looks like the 30×113, but afaik, it can’t fire AP ammo. Just HEDP

Just from the image it looks like the 25mm M242 option

Not sure about the ATGMs, the brochure for the turret doesn’t go into more detail than just “ATGMs” either

Anyway, knowing Gaijin, they’ll gonna give it everything that it could carry despite the owner nations not having them IRL, as long as they still has the capability to use it. Indonesian Mi-35P comes in mind when talking about ahistorical loadout.
