Meanwhile Japan is a completely idiotic option for any subtree to be added in, especially Korea. They literally have nothing in common other than both being Asian and Japan committing unspeakable atrocities in Korea. People who want Korea added to Japan are either

There is no logical nor historical basis for any Korean vehicles in the Japanese tree. There is almost no military cooperation even present-day, cold relations, and no shared basis for vehicle development. Anybody denying this is coming either from ignorance or from malice.
That’s why the creator has avoided to add many more copy n paste vehicles however like you said Gaijin could introduce more copy n paste vehicle as they like because they are lazy sometimes but you could say the same when North and South Korea were to become a subtree.
It could have a rank 1/2 but it would require more copy n paste vehicles. However Air Tree could be problematic in that regard, that’s why why Rank III was better idea.
Did you check the information regarding each vehicle though?
Rank III and IV has an even mix of unique and CnP vehicles then past that the majority is unique vehicles. That there are a lot of variants should be no issue as long as they differ from each other, the major nation have the same thing so i see no issue in that.
I’m honestly confused why Israel should get this much sub-tech trees. Chile is argued as the best option because it uses some Israeli technology under american and other european platform which very few are ground vehicles and air vehicles that could be in-game.
South Korea even worse, I don’t see much of logic in this suggestion—South Korea in Israel as sub-tech tree. At least in my opinion is way too much out of place, I’d say that a unified korean tech tree could work greatly and hopefully this could bring a better standalone tech tree than fillers, both countries have amazing vehicles that could be in-game.
Unified Korea tree is a no for me, I don’t want another Israel.
And USA mains just want more to their super sized TT, for the sake of game I want SK to Japan and NK to China or Russia
And if no one can agree on that then I propose one last thing, and that is to add shared sub TT between countries ( for example SK acsesed by us and Japan)

japan has fewer ties to them then the US its unlikely espicially with recent addition of thailand if south korea is added it will most probably be a US subtree germany got swiss as one britains got one same with italy lots of countrys have recevied them every country will probably receive atleast one subtree
singapore will be very unlikely to go to china as they use majority of american tech so its either they add them to US or the us could get singapore
Dont add them at all. just put export vehicle in. Too much hassle and too much tribalism in those two places. i’d rather have SK export stuff in other tree like VIDAR.

Honestly I’m not not even a US main, but I just think SK would be a logical fit to the US tree. I don’t think a united korea tree would be a good idea, and Korea to Japan would be way too controversial.
