Italy actually ordered 2A7 and might chose 2A8.

Yeah. If im correct then Viggen D was a bridge between Viggen and Gripen. And maybe even a test bed for aim-120 as it has similar/same cockpit as Gripen.
But im not 100% sure about that.

Based on them receiving the Hungarian sub-tree, in the far off future it’s a real possibility because otherwise the subline would end at the T-72M1 or Lynx.
At least Germany will be the sole user of the Leopard 2Ax(9) though :)
Italy didn’t order anything herself. It was ordered by Hungary, which has been in very close relations with German ground weapons since 1992. Everything that is now from the MBT, ACS, BBM belongs to Germany.
if they just ordered them I doubt we’ll see either before they’re at least delivered

why they have maps in their Kneepad pockets?
because when you sit in the cockpit where are knees, or what direction are your thighs facing
that looks like the map will get more Kills than the players
I must say it is pretty interesting to see how they implemented/ connected maps to their knees for easy use.
Might be a “hot take”, but the homogenization of vehicles this patch feels great, GB gets access to a T-90, and Italy gets access to at least a leo 2a4 and a T-72 variant.
Seems like removing nation based mm for non-arcade modes isn’t happening, but in air the matchmaker generally already favors mirror matches at high tier, and having the strongest vehicles being spread more evenly throughout tech trees feels like a good move from a balancing standpoint, now if only every other nation could recieve the Pantsir S1…

Why do they add every patch another map? There are enough in war thunder. Does even one player prefer maps over vehicles or mechanics?
Map knowledge is so important and regular players simply can’t keep up
