Abrams X is not a service tank it is a technology demonstrator. It will likely never enter service in it’s current form. T-14 is just entering mass production and is severly hindered by sanctions and funding.
All mdoern Russian military hardware tended to use some western systems especially micro chips.
Some are still beign sold via other countries btw.
KF-51 is not ins ervice enywhere either.

I also would like to see the best versions of the 2A7 to be added to Germany quickly as long as they actually had them in service before other nations, but the 2A6 we have right now is somewhat future proof while the 2A5 with the latest shell is no joke either. 2A7 wll of course increase the protection and later add APS but I’m sure we have some time till then.
Currently Italy will onyl receive the Hungarian 2A4 while Germany already has the 2A6 and now is getting a ‘‘early’’ PSO.
When Gaijin goes the next step in Abrams, Leopard and T-90 developement remains to be seen. Especially since other nations struggle to keep up technology wise.

I am fine if italy gets their leos and hungarian leos but Germany should get these aswell in their configuration. Like I said: The producing nation should always get it the same time or earlier.

They already ordered 2A7 while Norway and Germany are ordering 2A8 already. It is possible that Italy will order some 2A7 and then 2A8 or upgrade it’s 2A7 to 2A8 standard.

I wonder if the Norwegian 2A8 will end in the Swedish tech tree.^^

Seems like Gaijin is fine adding non-service/prototype/tech demonstrator vehicles to the game, see the 2s38, Obj 120, Obj 435, HSTV-L, AGS, XM 8, CCVL, CV 90105, and many others.

Hoping that those vehicles, even in a speculative state (the T-14 will likely be added with extensive creative liberties to ensure it is the ultimate mbt with little competition), will get introduced to the game as they add something different to minor modifications on the current generation of MBTs.

You are correct.

Ja37D was a short term solution for to fill that gap until Gripen arrived.

They used some of those Gripen Technologies on Viggen and armed with Amraams.

I’d rather see them wait till T-14 is actually mass produced and proposed tanks are on the horizon.
Knowing it is Gaijin we might of course see a Leopard 2 with Leclerc turret soon enough.
Who knows maybe even Abrams X - if so I want a MBT Revolution before it.
T-14 IS supposed to be rather good personally I do not know wether liberties would have to be taken to make it competitive…

İf you ask me Gaijin is planning to introduce Gripen with Amraams on next patch, although both Viggen and Gripen could get Amraam at the same time.

Bundeswehr officials have stated they do not plan to buy KF51 because it doesn’t fulfill their expectations for a Leo2 successor

the main one there being no Crew in the turret
