I don’t know why it’s controversial that if Italy is getting a the leo2a7HU (or the ordered italian leo) that germany should get the leo2a7+ or leo2a8 aswell. The producing nation should always get the tanks/planes/ships first or at the same time

Off course I understand. Especially now that you made clear what you are actually talking about. I don’t know wether you are a native speaker or not but to me it ‘‘sounded’’ as if you were expecting a 2A7 for Italy rather soon without it being added to Germany at all.
Wether 2A7 variants will be added at the same time to different nations or not is a different matter entirely and can not be predicted accurately.
I would prefer if the base version at least was added simultaneously but Italy has a greater need for competitive MBTs.
As soon as Germany has 3 it can manage for some time.

That would justify the 11.7 BR. But i still belive that Viggen D was a useless addition. All they could do is give Viggen C its aim-9L and BOL pods, that it carried and move it to 11.3
Only differenced between Viggen C and Viggen D was a different cockpit, radar and aim-120. And with aim-120 probably not coming any time soon…there was no point for it to be added.
Any planes for Hungary, or only tanks?

I interpreted it that way that players want the leo2a7HU while germany is stuck with the pso. They should get it at the same time or germany should get their tank first.
I am general in favor of italy getting a top tier leo, but their top tier shouldn’t be only leos, because there should still be something unique about a nations top tier. Nations like italy simply don’t have a coutner to the kf51, Abrams X and T14 yet
I agree that there was no point to add it yet but together with AMRAAM addition it would be completely justified. But maybe I’m just biased because I always admired the D version of the Viggen and truly loved these high-end modernizations of older jets.
