Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

many nations produce vehicles exclusively for export and not domestic use.

Does the German military use it?

No.

Then there’s no reason for it to be in the German tech tree.

Yes. And they usually get them all added ingame. Like the Export Abrams. Or the Chally 2E. [many more]

The British military did not use the Vickers Mk 7, VFM 5, et cetera, either.

Vickers Mk.7 being a UAE vehicle which lacking a subtree of it’s own then goes into the nation with the closest ties to it in game, which also happens to be the nation that made the tank.

But there is already a Hungarian subtree which is more important that the manufacturing nation.

If there was no Hungary then the KF-41 could go in the German tree.

And the KF-41 is German and was not made specifically for another nation, so it should go to the German tree.

But it was made specifically not for Germany, they offered it as any self respecting business would but there was no expectation that the Germany military would want it

If it was offered to the German military, then it was at least partially made for the German military, and thus should be added to the German tree.

F-4F for the US tree when lol.

Would be good to get our Hunter F58 back as well

Yes.

Yeah lets add every vehicle to every tree then because at some point it was offered to somebody

Does Russian military use the Yak 141? Or the 2S38? Or any of the wild russian projects? Why are they added to Russia then?

Hint: Just browse the tech trees: No tech tree is names after the armed forces of one of the countries, but after the countries themselves. Its not a Red Army tech tree. Not a Bundeswehr tech tree. Not a British Royal Army tech tree. Lol its the tech tree of the USA, well… or Germany. So everything from that country belongs there. Doesn’t matter whether its adopted by the armed forces. Otherwise US wouldn’t have any SPAA after that Gatling thing: Neither the ADADS, the Roland vehicle nor the Sgt. York were ever adopted by the US Army^^

Nope, the German military already had the Puma which was largely better than the KF-41, from my understanding the whole reason the KF-41 exists is because Rheinmetall weren’t allowed to export the Puma

I would give it to GB TT, but I can’t. Its an anomaly.

This is different, since it was a German company offering the vehicle to the German military. Both are German.

Ah yes, the classic “rUsSiA BiAs” fallback. The fact that there’s a Hungarian tech tree in the game trumps any reasoning which might have led to the vehicle being in the German tech tree, it’s really that simple.

There is no Hungary as ingame nation. Its added to Italy, man.

For vehicles that no one adopted that would be fine as there is no other way to bring them into the game, but the KF-41 was adopted by Hungary which means there is no reason to add a fictitious German KF-41

He never said anything about Russian bias. He was saying that there are vehicles in the Russia tree that were not used by the Russia military. That it all.
