Air tree would be quite empty)
I saw this mentioned but, I don’t know why the XF-2B is brought up aside from maybe an event vehicle. If the worry is if the XF-2A can be armed, I don’t think it’s really a stretch to say the XF-2A can carry weaponry just like the XF-2B. I don’t want to give Gaijin the wrong idea and give us an inferior XF-2B when XF-2A is sufficient.
Unless there’s another reason the XF-2B is mentioned that I’m unaware of.
You seem to be skilfully ignoring that it is a Hungarian flagged vehicle in the Hungarian subtree of Italy.
You can argue about whether Hungary belongs in the Italian tech tree all you want but don’t try to exclude a Hungarian vehicle from the Hungarian subtree
The KF-41 is as German as the F-4F is American but I don’t see anyone complaining about that being in the German tech tree, the KF-41 was made by a German company specifically for export so it’s got no reason to be in the German tech tree
At the end its in the italian tech tree lol. Dunno why everyone has to mention hungary. Its literally an italian vehicle ingame, just with a hungarian flag on its statcard. Please stop using hungary as excuse why Italy should get a german IFV, which has not connection to Italy whatsoever.
The weapons purchased along with batch 20 are mainly for air combat use, including 600 AIM-7M Sparrows and 900 AIM-9M Sidewinder air-to-air missiles. This is the first time the Republic of China Air Force has used the AIM-7M, but the semi-active radar guided AIM-7M missile limits the off line combat engagement capability of the F-16 fighter jets used by the Republic of China Air Force. It is also a type of aircraft with weaker off line combat capabilities in the early stages of service of the new generation of fighter jets in the 1990s.The release of air defense weapons has progressed more rapidly than other equipment. In 2000, the US government allowed the sale of 200 AIM-120C-5 advanced medium range air to air missiles. These missiles were delivered in 2002, and interface integration was also completed during the delivery period. The first time they were filmed by the outside world for airborne training was on September 21, 2004. The first live fire shooting of the purchased AIM-120 was carried out by the 21st Fighter Squadron, which was trained in the United States in 2003.In 2007, the US government agreed to sell 218 AIM-120C-7 advanced medium range air to air missiles, 235 AGM-65G-2 Mavericks missiles, 60 AGM-84L Harpoon anti-ship missiles, and 50 upgrade kits to upgrade AGM-84G to AGM-84L.Before the delivery of the Sagittarius pod, the F-16 of the Republic of China Air Force was originally only capable of throwing traditional unguided aerial bombs and television guided Mavericks missiles. With the Sagittarius pod, the F-16 will be able to target with laser and throw active GBU-10 Paving II and GBU-12 Paving II laser guided bombs.|
This’s your “never used the 9M”?
So no cold war vehicles at all, the German air tree ends at the ME-262 if it’s just German aircraft
Everyone mentions Hungary because Gaijin themselves are mentioning them and adding them as an official subtree. The fact that you can’t agree with this doesn’t mean that it’s not the case.
Hey, if German mains don’t want other countries getting German vehicles, then Germany shouldn’t be getting vehicles from other countries either.
Maybe allow the Tornado. at least 1/3 of it :P
So subtrees just aren’t a thing then? Even though this was literally announced as Hungary joining the game? I mean in that case no foreign service vehicles should exist at all and Germany still wouldn’t get the KF-41 as the German military never used it, unless like I said you plan on giving up the entire German air tree after WWII?
Agreed, but the KF-41 whilst made by a german company had nothing to do with the German military or state and is exclusively operated by Hungary therefore it should only go to Hungary and that means in the Italian tech tree.
Why? Pantsir shots down everything anyways. I don’t need air stuff. And ground units? We only get garbage from other countries like the TAM, SK105 or the Polish 2A4 mod at a ludcricrously high BR. Its not like we’re like Sweden, which get an 2A6 for lulz or Italy which get Rheinmetalls newest 2023 IVF.
Yup, agree 100%. If Germany ends up using it IRL, then it can end up in the German tree too, but since we have a Hungarian subtree, there’s no reason for it to go anywhere else.
Tornado was co-developed by multiple nations, including Germany, I was responding to a comment about the German air tree ending at the Me-262 if it was exclusively self-produced german aircraft.
I get that you might not play air battles but how can you be so selfish as to trade 3 entire ranks of an air tree for one ground vehicle?
I have already explained why those situations are different. The F-4F was made specifically for Germany. The KF-41, however, was offered to the German army, but they turned it down. It has as much reason to be in the German tree as the Vickers Mk 7 does to be in the British tree.
The Tornado, Alpha Jet, and Typhoon are German.
How can you design, trial (over years) and finally mass produce a vehicle…without using it in Germany? Lol this makes no sense. Ofc its used in Germany. There are probably far more Lynx’ rolling around on German soil than these few in Hungary. The hungarian Rheinmetall plant just opened up this month, so you can wait like one to two years before the first will be produced.
Alpha jet and Typhoon aren’t here yet and a single aircraft does not make 3 ranks of an air tree
I never said it did. I was just explaining that the tree would not end at the Me 262 if only German vehicles were added to the German tree. Also, the Me 163 exists.
