Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

Why is that?

My understanding is they ordered them from the British.

T-90S is customized & produced by India. It’s not in use by Russia, and Russia only produced initial batch.
India also makes domestic munitions for it.

It’s okay that Germany does not get KF-41.
There are other options that are vastly superior that weren’t put into service by any country.

The vehicle is not manufactured in India from scratch. It is just a process of removing obsolescence, an upgrade over the old T-72BU.

Yep

Interesting, tell me more, where does the SK-105 fit? or even the TAM’s or the Swedish T-80…

The TAMs fit due to being largely designed by Germany and using a modified German hull. The Argentine SK-105 and Swedish T-80U shouldn’t be in the game, though.

I think he meant outlier in the 4 examples I gave. Im sure there are dozens of contradicting additions in game at the moment

Key word export, other than that there is no British connection to Switzerland, Germany and France both have historic and cultural ties to Switzerland so as a Swiss vehicle that is where it should be.

The point is though, The Australian Abrams is in the US tree because its a US export vehicle. Even though many Australian vehicles are already located in the British TT.

cant have it both ways.

Also Swedish Mi-28 and F-16J likely some more.
Tam 2 also never was in German service. Still is in the German tech tree. Just like KF-41.

Modern day Australia has close ties to the USA, Britain has no ties to Switzerland.

Okay @Mysto Tell me

TAM was designed in Germany. Argentina is not in the game. TAM goes to Germany.

T-90 Brishma was designed in the USSR. India is not in the game. T-90 goes to the UK

I’d say Australia has closer ties to Britain than India or South Africa does (who, if Im not mistaken, actually has some recent “hostility” towards Britain) At minimum its also a commonwealth nation, but unlike the other 2. The Royal Family is still head of state in Australia. Making it a closer tie than the others

And Hunter has it’s ties to Great Britain. Also lots of tourism in Switzerland established by British people.
What even are these laughable discussions.

  1. Those two first ones were never mentioned by the guy I replied to, so I didn’t mention them either, and 2. I never said it was. That does not change the fact that the TAM was largely designed by Germany and uses a modified German hull, and thus belongs in the German tree.

The SK-105 is an Austrian vehicle, so I guess it would depend on where Gaijin would place Austrian vehicles. The uproar over that vehicle is hilarious. When similar situations occur with US based tanks, I’m told I’m a greedy US main. When it’s another nation, it’s proof of how Gaijin hates insert nation. The Argentinian version is a compromise. One that I think should be considered more often.

The TAM is a different situation. Not sure what the question is here. It’s an Argentinian vehicle, made by a German company. Argentina isn’t in the game, so Germany would be the logical place.

The Swedish T-80U was at least trialed by Sweden. Similar to how Japan has the Tiger I and M47.

It was designed by Rheinmetall just like KF-41 and had little to no connection to the German government it is 1 to 1 comparable with the KF-41 situation.

You didn’t ask a question, so I’m not 100% sure what you want me to tell you, but if you’re asking where I believe those vehicles should go, the TAM should go to Germany and the T-90 Bhishma should go to Russia.

There is no Argentine tree in game, and thus the TAM goes to the tree that is representative of its closest connection, that being Germany, and the KF-41 is still German.
