Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

where else should the indian vehicles go then?
india was a british colony wether they like it or not, and i see that as a reason why britain would probably be selected if an indian subtree were to come as they have at least some unwanted historical ties with them, something that afaik cant be said about the other nations in game

Tell me the reason why they can’t move?
Explain to me why you don’t make a copy of the Class 3 in the British TT, put a camouflage net on it if you want something different. The Swedish centurion in the British TT moved and the Israeli magach too.

M1 AIM is a researchable vehicle. Australia is not in the game.
By that logic, Indian T-90 is not in the game either, it must go to the Soviet TT.

Double standard

That’s why I don’t accept arguments about the KF-41 in the German TT, it’s ridiculous.

Nope. T-90S can go to the British tech tree as India is not in WT.
No double standard.
Vehicles cannot be moved because of legal consumer protections that the EU, USA, etc enforce.
Centurion for Britain is still in Britain. Wasn’t moved.

It really doesn’t contradict anything. The only one that is an outlier is the Swiss Hunter.

The AIM, C2A and similar vehicles go to the nation that built them. The operating nation doesn’t have a tree in game.

The T-90S is license built in India. The link between India and Britain may be weak but it’s at least a historical link. Going to the Russian tree would be more reasonable but I understand the decision.

The KF41 is used by Hungary and Hungary is in the game. There is zero controversy there.

The Swiss Hunter is just a poor choice by Gaijin.

Agreed. But I think its a really slippery slope and as nations begin to run out of additions and other nations start getting added. Things are only going to get messier

India is not legally Great Britain.
KF-41 is produced by Rheinmetall.
Blablabla.

not even produced. hungary makes their own

Not yet as far as I know. Think about the cars m8. If you buy a German car outside of Germany it is still a German car, even if the parts are produced god knows where these days.

I agree, which is why I’m against C&P and weak sub trees. It would be better to combine weak nations into regional trees, instead of dumping C&P into minor nations with varying degrees of connection.

And as far as I know it actually is Rheinmetall opening a production line in Hungary. Is that even actual license production?

KF-41 is produced by Rheinmetall Hungary.
Just as Ajax is produced by General Dynamics UK.
Doesn’t mean either should go to the host nation of the company just cause they’re produced by that company.

There are superior KF prototypes that can be added instead, and PUMA Spike is superior to KF-41 as well.

does that make it a german military car though? as i mentioned i cant find any example of the german army actually showing interest in the kf-41 themselves.
im not too familiar with the 41 though and this is all from what im actively sifting through rn so, do correct me if im wrong

Yep, that would be a lot better. Some additions like India do have weak homes, like Britain. But many nations dont have even that. Taiwan in China for example is a hot-take, but there are many other Asian countries that could end up in the same place because of geography and I think it would be really really bad. Same for a lot of Warsaw pact nations as well for Soviets.

Friend, are you new here? there is no talk here about taking anything from anyone. MY GOD. It’s a lost cause with you.
Vehicles move to other TT’s and hide in old TT’s only for new players.

Let me check once again if I understood correctly:

Australian M1: Australia is not in the game, the vehicle is North American technology, the vehicle goes to the USA.

Indian T-90: India is not in the game, the vehicle is Soviet technology, the vehicle goes to United Kingdom.

And Rheinmetall Hungary is still Rheinmetall. AND we had it a hundred times by now. It does not matter if KF-41 is added to Germany or how superior Puma is to Lynx.
The thing is there is no requirment in War Thunder for vehicles to be actual service vehicles.
Random vehicles are added to random nations from across the globe.
In that situation you might as well make up Rheinmetall tree that has every vehicle with Rheinmetall technology or parts in it. Might be the biggest tree in game.

The Swiss Hunter belong in either the French or German tree but definitely not the British one, it’s a SWISS aircraft.

how about you just start talking normally instead of constantly being mad at people just because they dont think the same way as you.
and wasnt the AIM used by the US as well?

But is a British Export vehicle.

i do agree that gaijin is a bit weird with this but, as i said im only saying that i can see a reason as to why gaijin wouldnt add it. right now at least.

The F-4F is an American vehicle that was made specifically for Germany, and I know that it wasn’t made specifically for export. I never said anything that would make one think I didn’t.
