Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

if they were to make an indian subtree i guess they would put it in the british tree? wouldnt know where else theyd put that.
god dammit that means we get to deal with the arjun as well

Ironic moment:

Should Germany receive a German vehicle, made in Germany, by Germans? No man, that sounds crazy.

The UK should receive a Soviet vehicle (I remember the love those two have for each other), operated and modernized by India (a former British colony, the mutual love between the two is such that India is seriously considering changing its name to Bharat in a few days) .

Oh yeah man, that doesn’t sound crazy.

You act like the company that made it is the only thing that matters, yet you keep asking for things like an Argentine Super Etendard in the German tech tree even though it’s a French aircraft

“its a little far fetched” still implies “a little crazy”
the tech tree is the german military, the german military in itself had, correct me if im wrong, nothing to do with the KF-41. sure britain has nothing to do with the T-90 either but it is in a country that was still under british control until what isnt too long ago and warthunder wise, i dont think there is any other place to put it. hungary never was a part of germany. allied to them sure, but not a part of.
rheinmetal isnt the german military, remember that. theyre simply a company that makes stuff the germans may or may not like enough to adopt. which in the case of the KF-41, they so far havent.

Skink is Canadian, yet is in the British tree.
M1 AIM, Class 3, C2A1, and RAM are all non-tech tree vehicles that cannot be moved.
Class 3 was added before South Africa was a sub tree.
T-90S has no service nations in WT.
RAM is a legacy addition.
M1 AIM has service in USA.

  1. The F-4F was made specifically for Germany. The KF41 was not made specifically for Hungary, and 2. it’s a German tank, not a Hungarian tank.

Having a Indian T-90 in a British tech tree in a video game is rather more far fetched than having a IFV designed by Rheinmetall in the German tech tree of the same game even if the latter is meant for export.
No one says Hungary should not have it.
But on principle seeing how Gaijin is adding vehicles without any order of requirements it would be possible and acceptbale.
Why are you starting this rediculous discussion back up?

I correct you

It is not the German army’s tech tree.

Almost two dozen vehicles there were never used by the Bundeswehr.

Jesus…

That is the point. We cannot have a super Étendard, but we can have an SK-105. We can’t have KF-41, but Sweden can have a T-80 and UK can have a T-90…

I’m tired of the double standard.

Sweden has a better German MBT than Germany has. Italy has a German IFV with spikes and Germany does not.

Honestly @el_Argentino got a point saying an ancient colony with no real actual link is far fetched… as for South Africa, the sole thing I would say in favor is because they are still linked trough the commonwealth…

If India’s is being added to UK, then go on add Algeria to France…

didnt start, just replied. didntr even know this was a discussion that has been going on for a while mate

Would it make more sense for everyone if talked about cars? If you buy from Mercedes, Audi, BMW or Porsche in a different country you are buying a German car yes?

Most civil forums conversation.

This is the MAIN thing that is annoying with the Australian Abrams, Swiss Hunter, Hungarian KF41, Indian T-90, etc etc. Its not the act. But the fact it all contradicts each other. A clear defined set of “rules” going forward that dictate what can go where and why. With exception/compromises to ensure that vehicles go to the right place in the future.

i said it was a bit far fetched too, just not as far as the kf41. i wouldnt mind it being added to germany, id even go as far as saying i kinda just dont care, im just saying i kinda see why they wouldnt add it to germany. also its not as ancient as some might think, its only 1947 where india gained independence.
the german military never showed interest in it, and germany doesnt even produce the kf-41 to my knowledge outside of some testing vehicles since hungary produces their own under license

Yes totally…
For me the best thing concerning export would be that export vehicle were put in both the producer tech-tree (or premium) and in the user tech-tree

Edit: such as the Amx-30 Super

Absolutely agree.

T-90S isn’t legally used by the Russian military.
KF-41 is used by Hungary.

The problem isn’t the date, it is the actual link that should count…

The F-4F is an American vehicle and the KF-41 was made specifically not for Export

Didn’t know the 1950s was ancient times
