Yes those were leaked on the forum by a idiot. He argued why US needs a new Toptier Attacker.Instead of making a proper suggestion he leaked classified documents.

They arent lying. I witnessed the whole thing.

Yeah. Crazy seeing F-117 of all planes. To me, that’s still some kind or UFO tech lol

Harrier GR.9 would be awesome. HMSS too!

Funny thing is the F-117 isn’t even good enough for top tier

He should have gone for F-22😁

Not familiar with HMSS? Whats that?

Given that everything uses optical tracking (who tf thought that was a better idea than Radar SAMs???), the F117s stealth is kinda moot beyond detection on radar. But a black triangle UFO is a bit of a standout in the sky when night battles no longer exist

Advarks would be a nice addition to US tree but seems like gaijin doesnt care at all

IR missile would work?

Helmet Mounted Sight System
It’s far earlier than something like JHMCS but it’s still off-boresight seeker slewing.
Think MiG monocular targetting

Advarks and AV-8Bs I think are more reasilstic top tier/high tier CAS options for US

Ah… yeah, that would be fun to have on a jet

IR missiles would struggle big time, given the recessed and above body engine outlets

Honestly if F-117A was to come, I could see it being pretty good. A plane that’s borderline undetectable on radar until it’s already dropping a bomb, can’t be targetted by IR missiles from the ground but has no means to defend itself? Its a good tradeoff imo.

The issue is it has a pathetic payload really, only 2 LGBs before having to rtb at subsonic speeds and spend ages climbing thanks to it’s lack of afterburner or risk being shot down by cannon fire

why wouldn’t it be targetable by IR missiles?

It might not be meta, or deliver the most ordinance but in terms of kill probability? Huge.
You’d be looking at almost guaranteed 2 kills.

The F-117 uses recessed engine exhausts that’re mounted ontop of the plane, not at the aft, like the B-2. It means from below, your seeker has only exhaust fumes to lock, not the engine nozzles.
A2A it would be still as prone to IR but Ocelots and other IR vehicles would have a rough time locking it.
