I hope so, otherwise China is definitely gonna fall behind both in terms of CAS and air too air combat. It’s already bad enough the the CCP air line is lacking some of its more interesting options that would help keep it interesting and competitive

Atleast the Harrier GR.7 has an ok Chance if you use the AGM-65D’s and the targeting pod. All china has currently right now for top tier CAS is the Q-5L(calling this top tier is a stretch) and the F-16MLU, which while decent, is still overall inferior to any strike plane or even multi role fighter jets, as it lacks a targeting pod, and trying to use AGM-65B’s against pantsirs or ADATS isn’t exactly ideal. Obviously I’m focusing on CAS here but I dont say all of this too justify when other nations also get left behind. Sweden isn’t looking so hot in air, and unfortunately I don’t think that this update is gonna help them.

It would probably take a few more major update untill they add necessary somethings for minor nations.Next update is probably going to be focused around the major nations again.

I mean all paid sources I’m seeing are saying it, plus there’s nothing denoting it was declass’d. T.O.s are fickle normally since many nations might use them, but obviously in this case it’s not so.
I’m assuming they meant it’s ITAR restricted which is a bit different from actually being classified. ITAR would for example prohibit sales of NVGs or weapons tech w/out approval.
Basically export control rather than knowledge control. Not as big of a deal if so but still bad

As far as I can see, correct. I am not familiar with 90s rules on information class and wont be able to check for at least a week, but normally today you would see unclass stamped on it.
It might be declassified correctly by different rules at the time but I would always ere on safe than sorry
I mean we’ll see what the mods make of it, if it doesn’t get taken down soon then I’d assume it’s safe.

I mean, the way the Q-5L is gimped there is little hope that the devs will ever give china decent cas, the MLU can probably forget about all the extra features too lol.

I mean in fairness using Google I found it in 2 seconds. If I wasn’t aware of NATO classification standards and ITAR I would have assumed it was fine. That’s why Gaijin made a blanket rule for any T.O.s.
I do admit though, it was aggressively 90s which was adorable.
