But it’s weird that he thought F-117 would be a nice attacker for US.
tbh I do think the F-117 makes a really cool 9.3-10.0 event vehicle, like it isn’t very good but it has a fun gimmick to it with the stealth, which is a feature Gaijin need to work out eventually anyway, and it fits the role of an iconic strike jet that would be perfect for an event as I imagine a lot of people wanting to grind for it just because it cool.
It would be a really fun aircraft in sim.Stealth should help it to avoid radar detection and then players can bomb bases without worrying about bvr missiles
Was just thinking that, in arcade and realistic it’s kinda useless but for sim you could put it in the top tier bracket and it might still be really good, it does only carry 4000lbs of bombs though so it can’t actually destroy a base in one pass, over the course of a match though if it can avoid being shot down it would be pretty good.

We guess gaijin might consider Multirole aircraft 12.0 or 12.3 rank 8 for great britain, all-aspect infrared homing air-to-air missile 30G-45G from china, japan & europe and Air-to-Ground munitions for F-16D Block 40 Barak after this month ?
I guess britains next jet will be Sea Harrier FA2 at around 12.0 with 2-4 Aim-9M and/or 2-4 AMRAAM. Thats probably about as good as we can get A2A without the Typhoon. Other options would be Tornado Gr4 or Harrier Gr9 for A2G as they’d both have Brimstone. BAE Hawk could make an appearance and it could take a wide range of weapons, that might be semi-multirole.
There are a few Commonwealth additions, like the Gripen, but i really hope not
There aren’t really any that exist to add the game aside from maybe a prototype Eurofighter though that seems unlikely
We might see the AAM-3 soon as a Japanese alternative to the AIM-9M however the PL-9 is unlikely and so is the IRIS-T. The MICA-IR we will probably see at the same time as Fox3s are introduced.
The only things the Barak II needs would be SPICE and Delilah, The SPICE is probably coming sometime soon but the Delilah cruise missile I don’t see coming for a long time.

As cool as it would be I have a sneaking suspicion that Gaijin will stay very, very far away from anything low-observable.
Plus I’m not sure if the spaghetti code can handle a meatball that large.

IDK why they did it, I just think it’s a little suspicious that it was their first post ever for that account. you’d expect them to have some forum activity first before posting that.
And when it comes to low observable if they ever plan to introduce 5th gen aircraft they’ll have to implement it at some point, I don’t imagine it will be anytime soon but eventually they’ll have to figure it out and the F-117 would be a great test bed for it when work on that starts. We probably won’t see it any time soon but when we’ve reached the end of the line for 4th gen fighters we’ll probably see it then.
F-117 I think might be only one we see as its not for A2A.
Most Strikers dont have a lot of value in ARB gamemode, but I could see it being effective in GRB for avoiding radar and same for SB.

F-16D Block 40 Barak very good ground attack & CAS if equipped with SPICE 2000 and can destroy pantsir from long-range
For PL-8 good short-range Air-to-Air Missile for chinese but it might not enough because mediocore flare resistance, So I guess gaijin could add another IR with IRCCM & without IRCCM PL-5E II, PL-8B & PL-9 on J-8F & new aircraft PLAAF & PLANAF in the future

If they’re going to introduce BVRAAM to France then it will have to be the MICA-RF so I don’t see why they wouldn’t also add the MICA-IR alongside it
It could get Aim-9M, but it raises questions of its BR. Some have suggested adding a second F3 that would have 9M and AMRAAM. Would be annoying to grind, but would be the best of both

Yeah it’s a tough one because on the one hand you want a top tier aircraft somehow but at the same time you have to ask yourself how high you want to drag what is a very poor airframe, I think it would be best to have the basic F.3 we have now and then an upgraded version with AMRAAMs and AIM-9M or ASRAAM in a folder with it so that you can ignore it if you want and it’s half RP if you want to grind it.
