Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 2)

I thought it was more G’s for combined plane and less G’s for single plane.

Yes. The snippet says that 30g is the peak acceleration the missile can experience.
If 30g was the single-plane acceleration, then the maximum combined acceleration (in case both axes are pulling max g) would be 30 · √2 ≈ 42.4g. This implies that there is a g loading that exceeds the 30g listed as max peak acceleration, which is a contradiction. This means that the 30g’s listed is combined plane.

It 's very similar to SPAA bc it 's the same - these " auto-tracker " 's are exclusively for use against aircraft. They’re not related to the vehicle they’re named as, either: every IFV which has one uses the " BMP " code ( https://github.com/search?q=repo%3Agszabi99%2FWar-Thunder-Datamine+bmp_auto_target&type=code ) while the unused " Leclerc " one is entirely identical to the BMP one.

After checking the one in Enlisted, I’m 98% certain that the one now appearing here is for the F6F like theirs is.

that is weird i do understand that maybe BMP2M has an irst, but why the leclerc? or am i confusing it with another leclerc?

The name of the sensor does not relate to the vehicles which it is applied to.

great amount of confusion with this devs

Ahhh, ok thank you!

This would be a dream come true.

Count Breech shots as critical hits, breaking barrels too. Maybe also autospot nearby enemies by engine sound on your own Minimap. And make bouncing shots more rewarding.

I feel like this wouldn’t be so good. A real tank crew couldn’t hear other engines either, so this level of awareness would be a bit out of place.

The other points I do agree with, especially the last. Getting damaged is more rewarding than not getting damaged, which seems quite wrong…

Strongly disagree with autospot.

There are a lot of players who have developed the game knowledge to pick up types of vehicles and distance by audio. It’s a skill that you can use to your advantage and I firmly believe that those types of skills should be cultivated, not rendered useless

I mean that’s really not an issue in a game where the He-177 is in a configuration that isn’t physically possible.

The two upgrade paths for the aircraft were better engines or better undercarriage, but the gear could not support both. In game we see it with both.

If it could be used and fired, I don’t see why it shouldn’t be added to a plane that is already off-meta

I cant think of any reason for them to not add it based upon that, It did actually use 9Ms in live operations, so its perfectly valid.

The issue is BR. Adding better AAMs = Higher BR. It can barely fight 11.3s and below with its flight model. Flame in another thread did make the great suggestion of adding a second F3 with 9Ms/ASRAAM (in the future) and AMRAAM so that we can have an “F3” at 11.3 and have an “F3 CSP” that is more capable at 12.

Bet the F-16C radar is still going to be copy paste of the MLU upon release, as well as the Aim7M is still going to be copy paste of the Aim7F.

Ha that’s unlikely, next you’re going to tell me that aim9m will be a copy/paste stinger

What are you talking about lol.

Are you offended by that? You look offended.

Those Ju88s suggestions had been passed at least a few years, even the loadout of JU88A4( yes it can carry over 3000kg bombs but gaijin just give you half, and they refused to add that because they don’t want to change BR and for balance lmao), I am pretty sure they won’t change anything for JU88 as they don’t care other WWII vehicles, but only C&P.

I wonder if Chinese F16MLU will get new load-outs in the next update, such as AIM9M, AGM65G, and the night vision capability, The issue report has been acknowledged.
