I was talking about the J-11 coming same patch as SU-27, I said nothing about the R-73 before that.
If by other MiG-29 variants you mean an identical one just modified to NATO standards, there are no new loadouts, radar, flight model, countermeasures or anything else.
what makes sense is that when the SMT gets R-77 and a BR increase that the MiG-29A gets the R-73s and a BR increase to 12.3. If you do it before that then the MiG-29A becomes better for air battles which just seems silly.

I think the 9.12 should lose the R-27ER and get the R-73, but I don’t think it’s gonna happen, it just seems weird to turn an old jet into a better version of the fancy new jet they introduced in the same patch.

Out of curiosity, what kind of CAS options could China expect going forward that would get them up too par with other nations? The Q-5L currently is not cutting it but unlike say the Russians or Americans, I’m really unfamiliar with what kind of weapons the Chinese might have later for CAS.

The way TEC just straight up sh*ts on literally anyone complaining, or petitioning, or even discussing game changes is getting really annoying.
He’s a bit of a washed content creator, and admittedly I usually just watch him to balance my perspective on WT, but he’s been unrelenting in bashing the forums lately, and it’s not a good look.
I get that giving a nuanced explanation of why some people are not happy about different decisions is time consuming, and likely not good content for his channel, but if he’s not going to talk about why people are mad respectfully, he ought not talk about it at all frankly.
