Yeah… while I’ve been able to work the Phantom and get plenty of 3/4 kill games in it up until now, I fear that R-73 will just be too tricky for it to defeat. The fact it comes from such off angles is what worries me most (and yes i get thats the selling point of it). You’re literally going to have to prioritise every MiG 29 until they’re dead or you’re sure theyre not an SMT.

i totally agree, f16 FM specially the block 10 variant is broken asf in a pure 1v1 against the 29, if both are in min fuel, the 29 cant even beat in one circle if they merge at lets say 700/800 km/h, but other variants need more brain cells, like controlling your speed, doing 2 circles and stuff like that

Current Mig29 9.13 model wasnt even from 2000’s yet its using IRIST system.
First IRIST systems came out in late 50’s, F4 Phantom, F8 crusader and F-14 Tomcat used that system.

Yeah, my problem, that gaijin hates TT that i like.
I really do not feel it should be able to face Phantoms, be it British, American, German, whatever. I just don’t believe they should be in the same arena as R-73s.
