Asymmetrical balance isn’t that one thing is just flat out better than the other thing though.
Asymmetrical balance is where 1 thing excels in X area while the other thing excels in Y area.
The closest thing we would have in game is the F-14B vs MiG-29SMT. However there is no asymmetrical balance between the F-16C and MiG-29SMT.

If the AIM-95 is added, the R-14 prototype from the PFI program needs to be added too. Then you have a AIM-9L analog (R-14) and an R-73 analog (AIM-95).
You are doubly wrong. R and maybe T and P of the R-27 family were in service, as well as R-73.
What did not reach the east German MiG-29s were the R-27ER/ET/EP since they entered service 3 years after the wall collapsed.

The Russian one did because by the 1990s it was the most produced version of the MiG-29. The MiG-29S conversions were still happening.
If we want to be historically and technically accurate, the German one should not have the R-27T1, R-27ET1 and R-27ER1. They weren’t exported and the export version of its targeting system (RLPK-29E) did not allow firing them anyway. Only the R-27R.
