Yes i heard about that a couple years ago.
i highly doubt that since china already gets stuff from 2 regions , other nations would need a sub tree way more
Yes, the MiG-21-2000 is quite the specimen. It is a 21st centuary modernization made by Israel’s IAI, which spectacularly failed in the export market despite having the most advanced avionics and weapones across any MiG-21 by a damn landslide.
The reason it failed was because IAI had 0 experience with the MiG-21’s powerplant or wing design and no one to help them to replace any. As a result, the MiG-21-2000 is pretty much a MiG-21bis with 21st centuary weapones and avionics.
After a while, Romania and Israel made a joint MiG-21 for Romanian use which was mostly based on the MiG-21-2000. This would be the MiG-21 LanceR.
The MiG-21-2000 would be a great and unique event vehicle for Israel, a MiG-21bis with an Elta EL/M-2032 multimode radar and access to domestic Israeli guided bombs and AGMs, as well as AAMs like the Python 4 and R-73. I’m unsure if it could fire it IRL, but if Gaijin really feels quirky they could give the MiG-21-2000 the capability to fire Derby active radar homing missiles.

China already has Taiwan.
I mean yes and no Taiwan and China needs to be in one tech tree so it wouldn’t upset the wrong people and I don’t mean players. China sees Taiwan as theirs which technically is true as Taiwan started out as the Republic of China before a major thing happened. Which we can’t speak about here as war thunder isn’t about politics.

I don’t really care how China feels. Taiwan uses almost entirely US vehicles and they just passed a suggestion to add the M1A2T. China should have been left on Chinese only servers if that’s how they want it to be.

I get that but RoC and Communist China are not the same. If Gaijin wants to leave RoC in the Chinese tree, there should be a cap on what US vehicles are added. Putting US vehicles in a hostile tree is absurd.

I disagree thats kinda like saying we should cap nato and eastern block vehicles from being in the German tree because of east Germany being a hostile country in the past

Taiwan is being supplied by the US to defend themselves from the Communist Chinese. That’s nothing like Germany.

East and West Germany were states that were enemies till their unification… East Germany was supplied and defended by the USSR and West Germany was supplied and defended by the United States both to defend themselves from the other side… that is exactly like modern day ROC and PRC except no one is backing the PRC because of their own thriving military industrial complex.
