Sons of Attila - Rumor Round-Up and Discussion (Part 1)

Yep well 4 if my guesses were correct.

Does anyone else think the Atom Thunder event is testing mechanics of some kind ? It 's the second time they’ve had an event w/ a subterranean worm-type unit, and beam weaponry. Battle for Arachis had those too, and we know it was also testing the now-implemented Spike ATGM 's.

I’ve no idea what the worm and lasers( or something else ^^) might be pointing to, if they actually are related to something to appear in a normal implementation later. But it 's rarely a coincidence when mechanics reappear in themed events like these.

Makes sense. Because nearly all if not all aircraft in-game work fine in both air & ground.
Su-39 & Su-25T aren’t 11.3 cause of their ground performance, that’s for sure.

@MonkeyBussiness

AJS-37 is 11.3 because of 4x Mavericks and air to air.
It’d be 11.3 in ground even with separate BRs.

I’m not entirely anti C&P. I think it should be more sparingly used. Also, the standards for sub trees or C&P vehicles seem to be entirely different for US vs everyone else. The majority opinion is the US has no claim to anything that it didn’t build and use itself.

First off East Germany did have it’s own government and was it’s own state. Secondly ROC is not a sub tree of PRC they are both China this is evident when you look at lower tiers where PRC tanks and ROC tanks are in the same lines. Also referring to how the trees seperate later on the German air tree does the same thing with post-WWII planes with the East German line and West German line.

That’s fine but when countries (like China) actually need it you are seemingly staunchly against adding American tanks used by ROC into the Chinese tech tree?

I’m against the fact the US tree has been stripped of basically any uniqueness without compensation. Almost anything the US fields is directly countered by its own vehicles, plus whatever domestic vehicles the other nations field.

And now the M1A2T is being passed to the devs for consideration. Its insane and never should have been allowed to get this far. China should have been added as a sub tree or as an international tree.

America has not lost its uniqueness in anything but air they are the only national with Abrams when multiple trees have many Soviet tanks. Also ROC is not a subtree of PRC it is a united chinese tree. China deserves the M1A2T

Also for china being added as a sub tree that is disgusting it is ignoring any indigenous vehicles and would fill up nations that already suck to grind

A united Chinese with two factions that are basically at war with each other? That’s absurd. No, China doesn’t deserve the Abrams.

Its not ignoring any unique vehicles.

Again East Germany and West Germany should be two different tech trees by that argument. China is a united tech tree and presents a unique play style like every nation does and adding the M1A2T would continue to improve that. But this is not what this topic is about China will stay a united tech tree and will most likely recieve the M1A2T.

Now F-16A Block 20 MLU from ROCAF that’s the best of F-16 at china tech tree

So I’m not serious because it’s just game

Adding a C&P M1A2T further diminishes the game.

It really doesnt. It adds a new play style to another tech tree. Like with Sweden getting a T-80U it is to provide another tank to the line up that also allows different play styles. And if thats what you believe then we should remove every M4, T-34, T54/55, etc

For the Worm thing, I have no idea, but for beam weaponry, the US Army is literally testing the Stryker DE-M SHORAD system, which uses lasers, I actually have a suggestion created for it, but they’ve frozen all suggestions for the time being, so just waiting on that, but the TLDR of it is a up-engined Stryker with a 50kw laser on it that can shoot down drones, missiles, shells, and theoretically, planes, with an 8km range

As a player of all 10 nations, and myself native to USA, M1A2T being after CM11 is perfectly fine. It’s a unique Abrams for Taiwan. M1A2T is not copy-paste, everyone knows this so don’t antagonize us.
China is a great independent tech tree with few copy-paste.

Maybe when robot jumps and creates explosion could be some kind of the test for anti tank mines?

Or the impact from Hedgie, when a plane meets the ground and now with real damage?

the F-5E does almost everything better than the AJS-37 and it sit at 10.7

Few copy-paste? Lol, lmao even.
