No but given that it can be corrected and Gaijin have opted not to mean that they don’t see it as a mistake, which means that it is entirely reasonable to assume it could be repeated.
Pretty weak argument when Germany did fly the MiG-29, Italy did fly the Tornado ADV and China (Taiwan) do fly the F-16.
It would be fake as interval between ‘V rank’ and Pr.183R is too small. It usually has to be much far unless there are five branch. USSR coastal tree has only four branch even when Pr.183R is added.
Meanwhile, well Styx will be not that big of a problem. It won’t work well against cruisers and capital ships 6.0 above. It would be powerful against destroyers and treaty cruisers but post treaty cruisers could withstand it.
Actually, no, they didn’t. Italian ADV’s were taken from RAF stocks before they were upgraded to fire the AMRAAM and the Italians never got around to applying the modifications themselves.
It doesn’t really matter as Italy’s F-16ADFs are AMRAAM capable so the Tornado doesn’t really need them
boo hoo, expect this later in the game anyways, why not start now?
Agreed, other than grinding whatever gets dropped below it I don’t see any reason to bother with the Italian one when there’s an f-16 sitting beside it.
He complemented Japan’s air-to-ground strike capabilities
The real issue is where does Italy go next, the have the EF-2000 and F-35 and that is basically it?
Personally I’d like to see some other Mediterranean nations like Spain, Greece or Turkey in there as sub trees.
It only added Maverick Bs which TBH don’t help much, It would have been simpler as well to add them to the EJ Kai instead seeing as both solutions require bending history to achieve.
400kg its a big bomb. You know that a 1000lb bomb can kill a CA and BBs ?
Yet İtaly operated those F-104s actively for both combat and training purposes, cant say the same thing for Britian in this case.
Man you sure do love playing around edge with those words.
Since snail seems determined to give Germany Swiss stuff. A Swiss f18 might fit better.
Please tell me where I said anything about an F-104?
Besides the F-16AJ shows that Gaijin don’t need much of a reason to put a vehicle in game and I still don’t understand why you are so intent on gatekeeping here, how does this effect you, please enlighten me?
İ also understand their point but Gripen shouldnt be top tier jets for Britian right now.
After adding Eurofighter Typhoon Gripen will be welcome addition to Uk under SA sub tree.
Edit: We didnt talked about current situation, we disccused all possibilites for new vehicles and certainly 2A6 isnt the best option Germany can get.
Seems like i misread F-16 as a F-104 cause i was reading too fast, my bad on that part.
Yet in F-16 case İtaly operated them under their colours and armed them, in Gripen case Uk never adopted Gripen into RAF and only used for training.
Pretty much, AV-8B+, AMX, Typhoon, F-35A & B is about it. Maybe the M-346 & F-104S ASA/M just for the sake of adding “something”.
For the UK, Italy, Germany, Sweden,. France and Japan there really isn’t a lot left that can be added for the air trees.
Ok then lets make a correction.
Did İtaly operate Tornado F3? Yes they indeed did.
On the other hand he claimed İtaly didnt have those F3s.
And man you are really looking for a easy way to access all those shiny new toys without actually grinding their trees.
still no problem as anti-ship missile is not ‘bomb’. Especially Termit cannot pop-up, meaning that it’s going to hit side armor not deck armor.
Even in case of pop-up anti ship missile things won’t be that different. Currently 1000 lb bomb can kill CA and BB because Gaijin remove mechanism of deck armor stopping HE bomb from getting inside, and bombs can be delay its fuze freely. Not something that matches to anti-ship missile.
Gaijin already test with Komoran on Marinflieger Tornado about Active Radar Homing missile. Not a huge damage even in the case of 6.0 cruisers. Harpoon/Exocet will not have different destiny. For Soviet anti ship missile, they would be better, but still not a thing that could ‘bury’ battleships.
